Longing

Ji Mo said, "I miss you so, so much..."

Ye Xi: "How much?"

Ji Mo: "I missed you in my last life, and I miss you in this one. I miss you today, tomorrow, and the day after that."

Ye Xi: "Then once I'm by your side every day, you won't have to miss me anymore."

Ji Mo: "Then can I think about something else?"

Ye Xi: "Like what?"

Ji Mo: "Like picking you up and holding you."

Ye Xi: "And then?"

Ji Mo: "And then... staying with you forever."

Ye Xi: "Anything else?"

Ye Xi added, "I've already made all of that come true for you."

Ji Mo: "Then... can you love me?"

Ye Xi: "Then you should just hold me."

Ji Mo, close to tears: "You don't love me?"

Ye Xi: "I will if you stop crying."

Ji Mo cried even harder.
