Make Your Heart Flutter

On a whim, Yang Shu spent a day pretending to be a couple with a stranger.

After their perfect date, night fell. Before they parted ways, they had a little to drink, and things quickly got out of hand.

The next day, the man cornered her. "How about we make it official?"

Yang Shu said no, then slipped away while he wasn't looking.

Not long after, she went to stay with her best friend. As soon as she arrived, she met her friend's older brother, Jiang Pei.

A famous lawyer in the industry, he was cold, handsome, arrogant, and bold.

He was also the man she'd refused to take responsibility for half a month earlier.

Her friend said, "Shushu, this is my brother. I talk about him all the time. This is the first time you've met, right?"

"First time?" Jiang Pei lounged against the sofa, his sharp gaze surveying Yang Shu from head to toe. His expression was unreadable. "How come I feel like we know each other pretty well?"

He put extra emphasis on the word "well," as if he'd turned it over and over in his mind.

Yang Shu: "..."

That night, Yang Shu woke up thirsty and went to get some water.

As she passed Jiang Pei's bedroom, he pulled her right inside.

[Bonus Scene]

Jiang Pei: "Shushu, I see couples come up with matching usernames. Should we get some too?"

Yang Shu: "Like what?"

Jiang Pei had a flash of inspiration. "You can be Shubao, and I'll be Hushubao. What do you think?"

"...Why not call yourself Sofy?"
