The Villain Begged Me Through Tears Not to Eat Him

Read for fun, please don't nitpick the details.

Blurb:

First, he inexplicably turned into a character from a game he had played. Then a System dropped him into another world to complete missions.

Yuan Qiu, forcibly stripped of his status as a human and bewildered out of his mind, stood alone on the street, calmly wishing he could drag out some rookie System and beat it to a pulp.

Fortunately, he later found that there weren't many missions and they weren't too difficult. The food in this other world was no different from what he was used to, either, and only then did Yuan Qiu's murderous urges gradually subside.

Except

"I kindly invited this pale-faced gentleman to try a freshly baked pie filled with green spider lilies, and he tried to kill me???"

"How can a perfectly good tailed beast not have a physical body? If it did, I could chop it up, let it grow back, then chop it up again. I'd save a lot on food in a year!"

"Thank you, kind Russian gentleman! This dragon will feed me for several meals!"

Little Scene:

As everyone knows, in Don't Starve, killing bosses and monsters can yield generous rewards, as well as large, delicious chunks of meat.

So Yuan Qiu said, looking utterly innocent: "I just wanted to see how it tasted!"

The villains: "Get lost!"

Couple not yet decided.

Yuan Qiu's appearance is based on a player-created character from the game Don't Starve, "Thousand-Year Fox" (gender-swapped). His other abilities are based on the official character Wendy the Ghost Girl.

(The parts involving the game are very limited, mostly brief descriptions of items and abilities.)

A crossover story spanning multiple anime and manga worlds, with a heavily altered timeline.

The author's writing is at an elementary school level. Some characters may be mildly out of character. Please don't flame me, and thanks for understanding (*^▽^*)

Theme: Food is paramount to the people.
