After Becoming the Villainess, I Got a Happy Ending with the Heroine's Sister

Mu Yao transmigrates into a book, becoming the villainess in an old-fashioned melodramatic novel.

The original owner is a wealthy heiress who forcibly breaks up the male and female leads, only to end up abandoned by everyone.

Fortunately, when Mu Yao transmigrates, the leads are both still in their teens.

The story hasn't begun yet, so Mu Yao decisively keeps her distance from them and avoids the plot. She only hopes that once the two leads fall in love, they'll forget about her, the villainess.

But Mu Yao never expects that no matter how far she keeps away, the plot always pulls her back in.

With no other choice, Mu Yao can only become a diligent plot device, pushing the story along.

What she doesn't expect is that the leads' romance barely progresses, while she ends up taking in a little kid who's only halfway grown.

When the child looks at her with clear eyes, timidly hiding all the scars on her body, Mu Yao steps forward and takes her home.

Later, when she learns that the child is the female lead's biological younger sister, Mu Yao's heart softens.

They're both plot devices adrift in this world. She might as well help one if she can.

When Bai Zhenyue was twelve, she met a big sister.

She was gentle and kind, and when she smiled, two lovely dimples appeared.

In the dark stretch of Bai Zhenyue's life, she was the only light to break through the layers of clouds and bring her warmth.

But Bai Zhenyue was born tainted. Even that light would cruelly be pulled into her arms.

If her big sister feels sorry for the wounds on her body, then as long as those wounds never heal, will her big sister never leave her?

Compared to watching Mu Yao walk away, the pain of making new scars is nothing at all.

She wants her big sister to see no one but her.
