A Journal of Running a Curious Restaurant

Ning Xiaomeng woke up one morning to discover that she had transmigrated!

She opened the door and stepped into a wondrous, bizarre world.

On the street, little cacti bounced around as passersby laughed and cursed while dodging them.

Huh? A graceful, elegant little peony was arguing with an old human woman, its leaves curled up, while its husband blushed furiously and stood at a loss.

And there was Mr. Cucumber, who kept farting. People actually loved leaning in to smell it.

Ning Xiaomeng: ...

I must be dreaming! I must be dreaming!!!

Suddenly, a timid voice came from beside her ear: H-hello. Could I ask if you, you need to buy some eggplants?

Ning Xiaomeng looked up to see an eggplant tree laden with fruit gazing at her hopefully.

Life was tough for Auntie Eggplant, who went door to door selling her wares, so Ning Xiaomeng bought, bought, bought.

Every day, opening the door brought a new surprise. Ning Xiaomeng was left reeling, but since she was already here, she decided to make the best of it and open a marvelous restaurant!

Auntie Eggplant: Um, huh? These are the fruits I grew? They taste like fish-fragrant pork, and they're delicious!

The restaurant was packed. The peerlessly elegant Lord Clivia had come to dine again today.
