My neighboring novel, Plum Blossoms, is now available. Please add it to your reading list!
Qi Rufei grew up in a bandit den. She's beautiful, bold, and fiercely loyal.
Just as the chieftain was planning to find her a good husband, someone showed up at the stronghold and claimed that Qi Rufei was the young lady they'd lost as a child.
Qi Rufei was taken back to Huajing, where she went from being a female bandit to a noblewoman of a marquis's house, and gained a fiance, Shen Zhuo.
Shen Zhuo was frail and sickly. He'd be panting after a few steps, and without someone holding his hand, he'd topple over.
And yet, someone still wanted him dead.
Since Shen Zhuo had treated her well enough, Qi Rufei took care of these problems for him.
She decided that once Shen Zhuo died of his illness, she'd go back to being the stronghold's second-in-command, live a carefree life, and find herself another husband.
But she waited and waited, and Shen Zhuo never died. Instead, her own belly began to swell first.
Just then, assassins attacked again. Before Qi Rufei could even draw her blade, Shen Zhuo had already shielded her behind him, smiling gently. "Careful, my lady. You might harm the baby. Let your husband handle this one."
Qi Rufei: "?!"
A quick-witted female bandit X a scheming nobleman
Completed novels in my collection: Brewing Green Plums, Reborn and Forced by the Real Crown Prince to Usurp the Throne
Next novel: After I Dumped the Emperor
During the two years Li Zhaozhen spent as a hostage in Chen, she was bitter enemies with the Crown Prince of Chen, Chen Wang. He bullied her constantly, but as a hostage, Li Zhaozhen had no choice but to swallow her anger.
Later, the struggle for Chen's throne intensified, and Li got a new ruler. Only then was Li Zhaozhen brought back home, where she became the ruler's most beloved little princess.
Two months later, the Emperor of Chen died. Chen Wang took the throne, and Chen and Li went to war.
At the request of his ministers, Chen Wang led his army into battle, but fell into a trap and was captured, becoming a prisoner of Li.
Li Zhaozhen immediately demanded to take him. She bullied Chen Wang just as he'd bullied her back in Chen, but she went too far once, and when she woke up, the two of them were lying in the same bed.
Li Zhaozhen fell silent for a moment. "How about I do you the honor of taking you as my consort?"
Chen Wang got dressed. "My ambitions lie elsewhere."
Li Zhaozhen didn't force the matter. She persuaded the ruler to let Chen Wang return home, then carried on living the carefree life of a little princess, occasionally receiving news of him from her spies.
For instance: After returning to Chen, Chen Wang was imprisoned in the cold palace by the current emperor and had a miserable time.
For instance: Chen Wang staged a coup and reclaimed the throne.
And for instance: Chen's ministers petitioned Chen Wang to take an empress.
After that, Li Zhaozhen stopped reading the reports her spies brought back and focused on preparing for her own wedding.
But she never expected Chen Wang to come and steal her away on her wedding day.
A princess from a matriarchal kingdom and an emperor from a patriarchal kingdom
Theme: Facing adversity together and growing stronger through it.
The tenth prince and the noble concubine, the most disgusting vested interests in the whole article, are the biggest winners. After reading this, it feels like eating shit.
I picked up the book from Qingmei and read it intermittently. The female protagonist and the male protagonist are very interesting, and I really admire the love-minded male protagonist who has no intention of being powerful. He fights for power and profit, so there is no fun in spending time with his wife and children!
Hahaha, let's all live a happy life
Well done to the persevering Shen Zhuo, come on! My happy life for the rest of my life depends entirely on you~~
When I found out that Shen Zhuo was the prince, I suddenly didn't want to continue reading. It was so boring, even if he didn't become the emperor in the end.
It's strange that Ah Fei, who has the twin gene, couldn't give birth to twins, but Ming Yue gave birth to twins instead.
It makes me laugh so hard. Ah Fei is betting on himself.
I really like this kind of life-like plot!!
