[My other story, “Widowhood in Ancient Times: Daily Life,” is now available. Come check it out.]
The eldest daughter of the Bai family, Bai Mingtang, was capricious and flirtatious, with admirers flocking to her like carp crossing a river.
When the Bai family was suddenly convicted of a crime, Bai Mingtang fell from the clouds into the mud. Some wanted revenge, others wanted to make her their own, but Bai Mingtang vanished without a trace.
Six years later, Bai Mingtang returned with a child.
Her former lovers hurried over as soon as they heard the news.
After losing her memory, Bai Mingtang was at her wits’ end. With so many people around, which one was her child’s real father?
In the end, Bai Mingtang decided to throw caution to the wind and pointed at the most handsome one. “He’s my child’s father.”
Xiangli Mingzheng, passing by: “?!”
Afterward, Bai Mingtang moved into Xiangli Mingzheng’s estate with her child. She caused trouble day after day, and after they’d done everything they should and shouldn’t do, Bai Mingtang learned two things:
First, she wasn’t Bai Mingtang. She was Bai Mingtang’s younger sister, Qu Mingtan, and someone had deceived her.
Second, Xiangli Mingzheng wasn’t Bai Mingtang’s child’s father. They had been mortal enemies.
After regaining her memories, Qu Mingtan packed up her child that very night and said to Xiangli Mingzheng, “Sorry, I mistook you for someone else. You’re not my child’s father. We’re leaving now.”
Xiangli Mingzheng stretched out a long arm, pulled Qu Mingtan back, and said with a faint smile, “No matter. We can just have another one.”
Qu Mingtan: “?!”
Upcoming story: “Widowhood in Ancient Times: Daily Life.” Blurb:
After her parents force her into marriage, overworked office worker Song Yin gets into a car accident on her way to a blind date and wakes up as the matriarch of a wealthy household in ancient times.
After her husband died, the original owner couldn’t resist temptation and became entangled with another man. In the end, she was swindled out of her entire fortune, then framed for adultery. Not only was the original owner shoved into a pig cage and drowned, but her two children were also driven out by their paternal relatives as bastards. They both died young.
When Song Yin arrives in the past, the original owner’s husband has just died, leaving her a fortune and a pair of adorable children as white as jade and snow.
Her husband is dead, she’s rich and free, and she has two children. What a dream life. Just as Song Yin is about to lie flat, the original owner’s former lover shows up at her door...
Theme: Though tempered a thousand times, remain steadfast, no matter which way the wind blows.
The child knows that the one he has now is not his mother!
It was exactly ten years when the emperor died, [smirk], the male protagonist's calculations were really accurate.
Bai Mingtang is really awesome, [smirk], why is there even a little bit of envy?
Oh my god, the writing is very good, but it would be nice if some parts could be detailed. It feels a bit rushed.
Where is the male protagonist's motivation?
"I have actually seen Bai Heyan" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ Have seen the painting
"Then I had no sleep all night." This is a big bug for the author~ Sleepless means not sleeping. Combining the previous words, it should be a dreamless night.
This is not a very strategic plan, [laughs and cries]
Forget about others, don't even people who are close to the heroine like the princess and the hero realize that the heroine is different from the original heroine?
Will a sweet love begin after the text is finished? [Let me be healthy] [Let me be healthy]
