[My next book, Moonlight Shines on Me, launches June 2 at 9:00 PM. Please add it to your reading list!]
Song Yao is the wife of the powerful minister Gu Zeng.
Gu Zeng is peerlessly handsome and wields great power. He also cherishes her dearly.
The only flaw is that Song Yao has lost her memory.
She remembers nothing of the childhood friendship and youthful promise Gu Zeng says they shared.
Gu Zeng tells her, "It's all right if you don't remember. We can start over."
Song Yao believes him, and for a while they live together in perfect harmony. Later, when Song Yao plans to surprise Gu Zeng, she unexpectedly remembers the past.
She really had married, but not Gu Zeng. Her husband was named Shen Huaibi.
Gu Zeng was both talented and handsome, but his lowly origins made him a target of humiliation and abuse. For power, he was willing to give up anything, even climb over corpses and do whatever it took to rise. But when he finally held great power, Gu Zeng realized that Song Yao was the only person in the world who loved him.
By then, however, Song Yao was already another man's wife.
So Gu Zeng framed the Shen family, then snatched Song Yao away. But the love that had once been in her eyes was gone, replaced by deep hatred and disgust.
Just as Gu Zeng thought things would stay that way between them, Song Yao lost her memory.
He seized the chance to erase the pain between them and use their happy memories to create a beautiful dream.
Song Yao believed him. She called Gu Zeng her husband and acted as sweetly toward him as she had in the past.
But dreams always end. Later, Song Yao regained her memories.
Beneath the frosty night sky, Gu Zeng stopped Song Yao, his gaze stubborn and feverish. "If you want to leave, you'll have to kill me first."
Song Yao stabbed him without hesitation.
Shen Huaibi is a refined young master from an established family, as elegant as a sprig of orchid or a stalk of jade.
He loves his junior schoolmate Song Yao, but Gu Zeng is the only one in her heart. So Shen Huaibi buries his feelings and never speaks of them. Later, the Shen and Song families arrange their marriage, and Song Yao becomes his wife. But not long after their wedding, the Shen family is falsely accused and brought to ruin, and Gu Zeng steals Song Yao away.
Shen Huaibi falls into the mud, his backbone broken by his enemies. No matter how hard things get, he is determined to bring his wife home.
Reading Guide:
1. A forced marriage and possessive pursuit + a groveling husband trying to win back his wife + male rivalry for the heroine
2. When the heroine loves someone, she truly loves him. When she doesn't, she truly doesn't. She won't waver, look back, or play the saint.
3. A short, melodramatic story. I've never written this kind of thing before and want to give it a try. The content warnings are clearly stated in the blurb. If it's not for you, please don't read it. Let's respect each other, and everyone can be happy.

But when a flash flood hits and Wei Shu unhesitatingly shields his cousin, Qi Mingle finally understands: trying hard doesn't always lead to a happy outcome.
Qi Mingle lets go of her obsession with Wei Shu, follows her father's arrangements, and marries Zhang Yuanxiu, the new top graduate of the palace examination.
Their marriage is arranged by their families, and they barely know one another. Qi Mingle doesn't expect much from it. But after the wedding, she discovers that her husband is not only talented and handsome, with a gentle and mild temperament, but also treats her wonderfully.
Qi Mingle had thought she could always get a divorce if things didn't work out. Now, she suddenly feels that perhaps this life isn't so bad.
Everyone in Shengjing knows about Qi Mingle and Wei Shu. When Qi Mingle is about to marry Zhang Yuanxiu, everyone thinks she's doing it out of spite.
Zhang Yuanxiu thinks so too, but he doesn't care, because he is marrying Qi Mingle only to repay a debt of gratitude.
After their wedding, they treat each other with courtesy and respect. Zhang Yuanxiu waits for Qi Mingle to ask for a divorce. But as time passes, he finds he can't let her go. He wants the moon to belong to him.
Those who had been waiting to see Qi Mingle regret marrying beneath her station never expected to first see Wei Shu regret losing her, and then watch Zhang Yuanxiu rise from a low-ranking Hanlin scholar to a powerful chief minister.
In a dark alley, Wei Shu lies on the ground, battered and struggling to raise his head.
He sees the gentle, courteous chief minister slowly grind beneath his heel the hand Wei Shu used to touch Qi Mingle. His eyes are as cold as ice. "Mingle is my wife. I suggest you show some respect, Heir Wei."
Upcoming book: The Playboy's Guide to Winning His Wife Back. Blurb:

After their wedding, He Jinchao continues to spend his days carousing with his friends, barely seeing Yu Lingyi even once a month.
When people ask He Jinchao what he thinks of his new wife, he says without hesitation, "Quiet and obedient, but stiff and dull."
A few days later, He Jinchao and his friends accidentally stumble upon a women's banquet while out enjoying themselves.
There, Yu Lingyi, the quiet, obedient, stiff, and dull woman he described, is happily chatting and drinking with everyone.
When someone brings up He Jinchao, he sees his gentle, refined wife immediately look disgusted. "Why bring him up when we were having such a lovely time?"
He Jinchao: "!!!"
He Jinchao's friends: "Well, well~"
When they first married, He Jinchao had a poor impression of the wife he'd been forced to bring home.
But gradually, he discovers that besides being a brilliant writer, his wife is also skilled at pitch-pot, sword dancing, and polo. The reason she says so little around him is that they have nothing in common.
Seeing Yu Lingyi's eyes light up as she composes poetry with others, He Jinchao, who has always hated reading, enters the study for the first time of his own accord and pulls out the books propping up the table.
Theme: Never betray your true heart.
Support Xiao Shen, the male protagonist can be a scumbag but not a lowb. This guy named Gu is a lowb.
The list will be updated before V, and six after V. Pre-collection: "The Story of a Dandy Chasing His Wife", "Embracing the Bright Moon", etc. Please collect them
No, the author should write more about the emotional scenes between Shen and the heroine. Otherwise, there will be no tension at all. It feels too dull and lacks the relationship between Shen and the heroine. The description of Shen is very good at the beginning. Keep up the good work. The author is great. I don't mean anything else. I know that it's tiring to write a lot of words. Come on.
I always thought that Wei Mingzhan and Su Yunshu were a pair of deputy CPs. I have been waiting for their emotional scenes.
The character design of the male protagonist is good, and the character design of the second male protagonist is also good. The writing is very touching. The setting of the whole novel is relatively novel, with the female protagonist as the main line. The second male protagonist appears first. The male protagonist before him relies on some fragments of memories, but I still feel that it can be shaped a little deeper. The selection of materials is OK. Come on, author.
Your Majesty is pretending to be a pig and eating the tiger, right?
Thank you for not being so cruel as those authors who let the heroine and the villain be together, woo woo woo, the heroine and the hero must be good, and Daddy Song, woo woo woo
We're finally together, it's not easy
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the second male lead is so hateful, the female lead doesn't appreciate her when she likes her, what kind of sadomasochism is she doing now?
Gu Gou definitely can't be the male protagonist
