Jiang Baoyi and Chen Siyu grew up together as childhood sweethearts. Before either of them knew what love was, their elders arranged their marriage. After the wedding, they got along just as they always had, except that after every argument, they still had to sleep in the same bed.
Four years into their marriage, after yet another quarrel, Jiang Baoyi left the city to clear her head, but died in an accident on the way.
When she opened her eyes, Jiang Baoyi was back four years earlier, just as their families were discussing her marriage to Chen Siyu. This time, she politely declined: "When I marry, I want to marry a man I love. I only think of Chen Siyu as an older brother."
That night, a gloomy-looking young man climbed over the wall. "Jiang Baoyi, what do you mean by that?"
"We've never gotten along, and if we married, we'd only be an unhappy couple. Better to marry other people than to torment each other."
The young man stared at Jiang Baoyi for a long while, then left with a cold laugh.
Jiang Baoyi happily began looking for a new husband.
First she set her sights on a talented and handsome top-ranked candidate, then on a brave and mighty general, and then on a witty young master from a noble family. But every match fell through without exception.
Jiang Baoyi was angry and baffled. "In all of Shengjing, why can't I find one good man worth entrusting my life to?!"
"Because your judgment is terrible," Chen Siyu said gloomily.
Jiang Baoyi was so angry that she ended her friendship with Chen Siyu.
Chen Siyu had meant to give Jiang Baoyi the cold shoulder for a few days, to help her come to her senses.
But only a few days later, he heard that Jiang Baoyi had taken a liking to the cousin of one of her closest friends. In both appearance and temperament, the cousin was exactly the sort of husband Jiang Baoyi wanted.
Chen Siyu could no longer sit still. He rushed over, only to find Jiang Baoyi smiling brightly at the man.
His face turned black as the bottom of a pot, but luckily, only a few days later, Jiang Baoyi accidentally hit her head and lost her memory.
Chen Siyu immediately realized his chance had come.
Drawing on how well he knew Jiang Baoyi, he worked hard to win her favor while she was amnesiac, and at last she agreed to marry him.
Chen Siyu happily set about preparing for the wedding. But on the eve of the ceremony, Jiang Baoyi suddenly regained her memory.
Chen Siyu: "!!!"

Xiangli Mingzheng reaches out with his long arm and pulls Qu Mingtan back, smiling faintly. "No matter. We can just have another one."
Qu Mingtan: "?!"

When the village girl Xin He is picking mulberry leaves, she catches the eye of the wealthy Master Tan.
Half a month later, Xin He is carried into the Tan household in a sedan chair, becoming Master Tan's twenty-eighth concubine.
But on the second day after she enters the household, Master Tan dies of a sudden illness.
Xin He packs her things, ready to go home with her parents, who have come to collect her. But she accidentally discovers that her parents have already found her another husband.
He's Hu, the butcher from the neighboring village, a burly, ugly man who has already beaten three wives to death.
Xin He decides not to go home. She will stay with the Tan family. A concubine who entered the household before her advises her, "If you want to stay with the Tan family, you need to get on Young Master Tan's good side."
Young Master Tan, Tan Mingjin, is handsome and distinguished, and has already become an official at a young age.
At first, Xin He tries to please him so she can stay in the Tan household and have a place to live. But once she realizes Tan Mingjin has no heart, she stays by his side for only two reasons: to save money and to use him to escape her parasitic parents.
So later, on the journey back to the capital with Tan Mingjin after his mourning period ends, Xin He takes her savings and runs away without looking back.
Tan Mingjin first sees Xin He in his father's mourning hall.
He has returned home for the funeral, while Xin He is the concubine his father has just taken in. With her head bowed, she stands at the very end of a group of pretty women, her slender, frail figure like a wildflower by the roadside, ready for anyone to pluck or trample.
When Xin He clumsily and shyly tries to please him, Tan Mingjin watches coldly but doesn't reject her.
Tan Mingjin thinks Xin He is a little bird in his hand, and that he can break her spine. But in the end, he is the one whose spine is broken, bowing his head in submission.
Theme: Keep the feelings of the past, but cherish the person before you.

Will it be deputy CP next? I'm a bit speechless, why can't I write more about the female protagonist and the male protagonist's sweet marriage? I just finished one chapter and then moved to the sub-CP. I don't want to read the sub-CP at all.
Finished spreading flowers! I want to watch Little Baozi's extra episode~😚[Spread flowers]
The male protagonist's crazy love brain is like an iceberg of coldness exploding.
I've chased them here, woo woo, let them be sweet.
When will there be a side story with the female protagonist and the male protagonist being sweet? We finally got together and got married. I just want to see the two of them having a sweet relationship. I hope the male protagonist, Brother Scumbag and Daddy, will be completely offline as soon as possible and never appear again.
"Cancancan" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ Brilliant
It's so well written, how about a side story??
The writing is super good. I originally planned to stop buying it after seeing the male and female protagonists get married, but Su's writing is very good, so I kept reading until the end. However, the writing style in the last chapter was a bit jerky. I hope the next novel will be ranked top 1 on the all-order list.
