I'm Dead, There Are No Ordinary People Here

Before I turned twenty-four, my life was just like everyone else's: perfectly ordinary. The people around me were a little odd, but once you got to know them, you realized they were all good people.

Then one day, I found out:

My sweet, innocent little sister Rika not only had memories of a previous life, she had also inherited a boyfriend who loved her so much he'd die for her. My stepfather, who I always thought would starve to death without the family business, Kawahira Real Estate, was actually from another world.

The son of our neighbor, Miss Nana, supposedly ran a seafood company in the Arctic that sold clams. He could not only fight and fly, but could also set his head on fire as naturally as breathing.

And my red-haired coworker, who was always so kind to me at work and had such a refined hobby as gardening, wasn't even human.

I'm dead. There are no ordinary people at all.

Turns out I'm the clown!

A white-haired teacher wearing an eyepatch whispered, "You think you're ordinary?"

This novel will go premium on September 26, which is tomorrow! A big chapter will drop on launch day. Thanks to all the gorgeous, wealthy angels for your support. Let's meet up for some fun reading! Mwah!

Reader's Guide:

1. The title may change.

2. A happy, lighthearted daily-life story, one chapter a day. No more gloom!

3. A crossover world. It won't follow the original works' plots and settings to the letter. The strongest character is Schrodinger's (?).

For now, here's a couple of stories I'm collecting interest for:

The Ultimate Guide to Picking Up People

It started with me picking up a stray dog. A six-foot-tall stray dog, a big one, with a face that looked like some rich woman would soon slap five million into my hands and take him home.

I thought it was just a passing whim that would soon be over. But I never expected him to be great at housework and a wonderful cook, so I couldn't help deciding to keep him around for the time being, at least until five million fell from the sky. I never expected things to get so out of hand after that.

So then I got an orange cat from the Radiant Pot Street and a white cat from behind an orphanage, along with all sorts of little animals they brought home. Luckily, they were all able to support themselves at a young age, so we didn't end up as a whole family of homeless strays.

It's just that now I'm seriously worried the police are going to come check my household registration.

If I Don't Slack Off, I'll Become a God

After working herself to the bone through enough hardship to fill hundreds of chapters in a novel, she faced a new problem:

All that effort had built up so much faith that she was just one step away from becoming an emotionless god.

It was time to skip work and slack off!

So, together with her newly made friends, she set off on her slacking-off journey.

Including, but not limited to:

Taking down the dark forces and opening a hands-on training program outside the home of the old coot, the head of the Ninja Clan.

Taking a brother who had lost his clan and letting him experience the new ninja society.

Bringing about an age-gap romance for a girl from the Great Sky.

Helping the red-haired young man who took her and her friends in open an orphanage in Yokohama.

Helping a confused young man strike out on his own and establish the "Charity Foundation for Future Sorcerers."

And putting a lid on her boyfriend's coffin in a parallel world.

A Yuan: "Yeah, I'm still the slacking world's top dog today... Wait, why is my faith meter full again?"

Theme: Relying on yourself is what really matters.
