I Woke Up as a Male Fox Spirit

A plot idea, still being developed. Premise: 2020.10.21

The protagonist grew up in a remote, impoverished mountain village, relying on his frail father from a young age. He studied hard, got into a top program at one of the country's best universities, and dreamed of becoming an excellent corporate drone.

He never expected to wake up one day and actually become an animal, specifically a male fox spirit.

The country's richest man sat across from him and said disdainfully, "How much will it take for you to leave my son?"

The protagonist silently held up one finger.

The richest man was generous: "One million. You can have it."

The protagonist shook his head. "No, ten million."

The protagonist picked up the ten-million-yuan check and quietly left the cafe.

Around the corner, the tycoon's son had been waiting for ages. "My dad gave you the money, right? Let's go! Hurry up and cash it before the old man changes his mind."

The protagonist handed the check to the love interest. "Isn't it wrong to trick your dad and break your word?"

The love interest: "What can I say? Ever since I became a Taoist priest, my dad hasn't given me a single cent."

Overnight, the protagonist became a real fox spirit and passively unlocked a charmer trait. Anyone who looks into his eyes for more than thirty seconds can't help falling in love with him.

The love interest is a real Taoist priest, and really stingy. On the pretext of helping the protagonist conceal his identity, he makes him do the housework and cook, and even gets him to help trick his dad and swindle monsters.

The protagonist thought he was penniless, but it turned out his biological father was a thousand-year-old fox. The shabby old porcelain around the house was all antique, and selling just a few pieces could buy a house in the capital.

The protagonist: So all my hard work was for nothing.

Later, his father became his mother. Nine-tailed yin foxes can give birth regardless of gender.

Later still, he got pregnant with the Taoist priest's child.

Theme: Life is full of surprises.
