The Lady Sovereign

[True Microfiction Series] What does it mean to be a ruler? What does it mean to be a sage? Wan Lin does not know. I know only the sword in my hand and the realm upon my shoulders. I do not know how to be an emperor, nor how to be a sage. But if I am to be a ruler, and cannot make plans for the people, what kind of ruler would I be? Theme: A true bit of bedtime inspiration, a short piece under a thousand words. The plot is small and narrow in scope, but I hope readers can glimpse the magnificent life of a woman within it. We must strive to be strong.
