A Superstar for a New Era

Apple Video's flagship talent show, New Era Idols, shot straight to the top of the trending charts as soon as it premiered. One peculiar contestant caught everyone's attention. Wrapped in a thick shawl and clutching a thermos, she crouched in a corner and kept her head down until the very end. Then she stepped onto the stage in a qipao and sang a lazy, captivating song in Italian. She looked impossibly alluring, like a wealthy beauty from old Shanghai. But at a cast outing, when they ran into an obsessive fan, Miss Zhu kicked the hulking man three meters away. Back at the table, she blew on the goji berries in her thermos. A hint of regret crossed her eyes as she sighed softly, "It's been years since I last fought. I can't control my strength anymore." At the height of her career, Miss Zhu showed everyone the ring on her finger. Her expression was calm, but her eyes held a smile. "I'm getting married. He's the one who waited for me, did everything he could to save me, never gave up on me, and finally managed to rescue me. He loves me, I know that. And I love him too." A lively, sweet romance / A story of saving and being saved / A story of looking back and finding that person waiting where the lights shine brightest *The heroine will not debut as an idol or become one. She becomes an actress, so announcing her marriage doesn't violate professional ethics! Theme: Every relationship has its own beginning and destination, and everyone has a forbidden place in their heart. But when that forbidden place sees the light of day again, it doesn't have to mean destruction. It might mean salvation.
