An adorably ugly, love-struck, jealous little bioweapon X a healthy, energetic caretaker who can do it all

Xu Nanqi was assigned a defective specimen designated S089.

At their first meeting, the filthy little monster was being pinned beneath several caretakers, its face impossible to make out. Its little claws were clenched tightly together, and it didn't make a sound. Xu Nanqi's expression turned cold. He threw the caretaker who had come looking for trouble over his shoulder.

“S089, from today on, I'm your guardian. You can call me...”

The little monster lying on the ground mechanically lifted its head. A handsome, sunny boy in a white shirt with a big backpack smiled, showing all eight of his teeth. “Dad.”

Then Xu Nanqi got splattered with some unknown liquid, bitten three times, and scratched twice. But the little guy was his, after all, so Xu Nanqi put up with it.

Later, the little monster's weight shot up, and it seemed to spend every hour of every day clinging to him. This enormous lump hung from his arms, going “mew, mew” all day long. The monsters who passed by couldn't stand the sight, and hurried away as fast as they could.

Monsters: Thanks for asking. We were scared, not startled.

Reports of worlds being conquered began to appear with increasing frequency across the stars. A powerful, unknown alien species had established a new order. Rumor had it that their leader was elusive and merciless, and had conquered half the stars without a single person ever seeing them.

As for Xu Nanqi... He broke out in a cold sweat. He was pretty sure he'd met that legendary alien.

The S-class bioweapon in heat carefully tucked away its scales. Its tail, capable of smashing half a planet, wrapped around Xu Nanqi three times as it rubbed against his neck and murmured softly:

“Mew, Daddy, I want...”

Xu Nanqi: “...”

Put that tail away, and I'll call you Dad, okay?

What the hell happened to that frail, brainless monster? Quit that fake little mewing act!!!
