What Bad Ideas Could a Kitten Possibly Have?

Modern setting~

Mature, steady, mighty and domineering tiger dad (Siberian tiger) X scatterbrained Maine Coon kitty

Jian An transmigrated into the body of a kitten whose fur hadn't even grown in yet. In a year, he'd face the harsh cat life of being kicked out of the nest by his mother. Jian An planned to seek refuge with his childhood friend, a Highland cattle bull from the neighboring community, but on the very first day he was thrown out, he mistook the species. Faced with sleek, glossy striped fur and a bloody maw, the little cat's fur stood on end. He crouched low, trying to escape, only for the big cat, out on a leisurely hunt, to grab him by the scruff.

Jian An: I'm, I'm done for. This is where my life ends.

Jian An figured there might still be hope. Cats and big kings and all that should count as the same species... right?

So the little fellow, who could barely still be called a cub, whimpered and struggled to turn around beneath those sharp teeth. His damp little tongue licked the giant beast's nose, and he actually survived.

After being set down, the kitten licked his damp fur and made a big decision right before the horrified eyes of his childhood friend, the bull.

He was going to find himself a powerful backer! One who was gleaming gold!

A strange creature has appeared in City A lately. Whenever it gets the chance, it trots along behind the top predator in the area, meowing loudly and feeding it fish. The other animals are horrified, waiting to see the little cub meet a tragic end.

Instead, they get to witness the life of a lazy cat whose paws are washed before meals, who gets a bath afterward, and has food chewed up and placed right beside its mouth. Getting doted on and licked until its fur is mussed up by its parental figure is practically an everyday occurrence.

The other animals: ...We're not jealous at all. Really.

Jian An's life is rather cat-astrophic. His golden backer may be steady and reliable, but in private he's authoritarian and domineering. Go a hundred meters from home and he'll be carried back in a second. Want to go play with your friends? You have to report it beforehand. Worst of all, if he can't finish his food, he's held down and licked. Even the sheep next door dares to look down on him.

Jian An: This good-for-nothing cat life is total crap. He's running away from home!

That very night, the kitten, who had packed up his bedding, found out just how "exhilarating" life could be.

Damn it, all that talk about doting on kittens was a lie. Raising a cat from childhood was the real deal!
