There Seems to Be Something Wrong with My Best Friend

Qi Chuan Qingye thought he didn't have many friends, but he considered the few he did have his closest friends. Chatting with them was part of his daily routine, until one day he realized that something seemed off about them.

He went to watch a close friend's match. Seeing tennis balls on the ground with the destructive power of bombs, then looking at his friend onstage with a gentle expression, Qi Chuan drew a sharp breath. He realized something seemed off about his friend. Was this really the match he'd been talking about? Wasn't it more like a demolition site?

He went to a close friend's school festival. Seeing demons floating in the air and shouting, then looking at his friend, who was completely calm, Qi Chuan stifled his fear. He suspected that something seemed off about his friend. Was this really a normal school festival? Wasn't it a hundred-demon school tour?

He followed a close friend home. Seeing his friend talking to empty air, then looking at his gentle expression, Qi Chuan gasped. He felt something seemed off about his friend. The two of them were alone, yet his friend was talking to the air. Wasn't that strange?

Watching his friends poke at him as usual, Qi Chuan clutched his phone and shivered under his blanket. His friends seemed to be... No, wait. He was the one who seemed to have a problem!
