Adventurer Shi Yi, as famous as the Traveler Aether in Teyvat, had a secret no one knew: he wasn't from the continent of Teyvat at all. He was a “player” of a game about Teyvat who had transmigrated into the world of Teyvat.
The good news was that, as a player, he had a personal “game account” that no one else could see, and he was familiar with most of the story. Hoping to return home as soon as possible, Shi Yi relied on his “precognitive abilities” as a player and diligently helped the Traveler Aether search everywhere for his younger sister, Lumine.
At last, they encountered the Abyss Princess Lumine in Snezhnaya, bringing their journey to its end. As the Seven Archons gathered, “Heavenly Principles” descended, and a great battle seemed about to break out, Shi Yi glanced at the “playable characters” in his hand, all of them already unlocked, and screamed inwardly, “Fight, all of you! Once you're done fighting, I can go home!”
When war broke out, the happier Shi Yi had been about getting home, the sadder he felt when he woke up.
The good news was that he really had gone home!
The bad news was that it wasn't home in this space-time! And it seemed he'd transmigrated again, apparently into the world of Ultraman, and had even landed in outer space.
Shi Yi stared blankly at the monster suddenly flapping toward him and at the people aboard the ship shouting “Monster!” Then he looked at the planet, which was almost identical to the one he'd known before transmigrating into the game. A few seconds later, he gave an awkward yet polite smile. Well, even if the time and place were completely wrong, couldn't this still count as an unconventional way of going home?
Good grief, he never should have believed what the “account customer service” told him back then. Still, at least he had his “game account,” so he could defend himself to some extent.
Didn't this mean he no longer had to worry about people from Teyvat discovering that he could use their abilities?
Awesome! Now he could do whatever he wanted!
But when he took a closer look at the “playable character” screen in his hand, Shi Yi's face fell. Why did he still need Primogems to unlock characters now that he'd left Teyvat? He'd already unlocked his account while traveling with Aether, so how had everything reset to zero?
And how could this world possibly have Primogems, for crying out loud!!!
Tips: (1) The protagonist is a game player. He transmigrates first to Teyvat, then to the world of Ultraman...
