Bestow Immortality

Zhao Zheng spent his life on horseback, winning an empire through war. But in the final two years of his life, he became obsessed with immortality, chasing an elusive dream until he was swallowed by the endless river of time.

When he opened his eyes again, everything around him had changed. This wasn't any country he knew. He had been reborn on an ideal continent, in the body of an idiot everyone despised. Had Heaven decided he'd sinned too much and sentenced him to die all over again somewhere else?

Just as he was lying flat and waiting to die, an egg fell from the sky and chased him all over the mountains. He figured he was going to die either way, but he didn't want to die looking so pathetic.

The egg transformed before his eyes into a glowing monkey. He decided he must have eaten too many pills to be seeing things.

Later, the monkey told him that the path to immortality he had been seeking could be found on this continent.

"Well, that settles it." Overjoyed, he punched the monkey. "I knew I was Heaven's chosen one, invincible in all things. How could a little immortality possibly defeat me?"

The monkey smacked him with its tail. He'd celebrated too soon. Immortality was still a distant dream, but death could come at any moment.

While being hunted, Qitian randomly chose a world to enter. As luck would have it, he crashed right into an emperor of unparalleled destiny.

That emperor held a grudge. Years later, he pinned Qitian to the bed and tried to pull down his pants.

Qitian: "What are you doing?"

Zhao Zheng smiled faintly. "Doing you."

Qitian: "We'll see who does whom."

Zhao Zheng tugged at his waistband and tried to reason with him. "You're so lazy. Let me do it."

Qitian turned the tables and grinned wickedly. "I'm lazy, not stupid."

Free-spirited, arrogant slacker x grudge-holding emperor who plays dumb to catch his prey

(The ancestor is as beautiful as a flower, and may his immortal years endure forever.)
