Rising Above Rivers and Seas

Nangong Heng had a junior fellow disciple. Four years ago, they both completed their training. Four years later, the former had become the leader of the martial arts world, while the latter had become the young master of the demonic cult.

At their first reunion, Nangong Heng was so overcome with emotion that he charged over and started hacking at Bai Chen.

Rumors spread throughout the martial world that the two were caught up in a love affair and would fight to the death.

Until one day, Bai Chen, whose cover as a spy in the righteous sect had been blown, fled to Cloudrise Manor.

The righteous sect: Bai Chen is finished. Does he even know whose leg he's clinging to?

Bai Chen: Of course I know! I'm clinging to the leg of a gallant hero, full of chivalry and honor! Right, Senior Brother?

Nangong Heng: (smiling amiably) Everyone, do me a favor.

The righteous sect: Leader, why are you just standing there?!

A charming, romantic, carefree, chivalrous hero who is everyone's favorite backer x a proud, sharp-tongued tsundere who's fiercely protective of his husband

Nangong Heng x Bai Chen (Leader is the top)

Mutual pining, doting on each other. The leader's perspective features more often, so he's the top.
