Reckless Entanglement

*Mutual pining / school days at first / a beauty who grows into herself x a sickly-sweet young master

*The sickly-sweet bad boy's real pursuit of his wife / angst for her first, then for him

The day Ke Wen fell for Zhou Canrong was an utterly ordinary afternoon.

The boy had moved from a big city and become her neighbor.

"Hi, I'm Zhou Canrong."

At their first meeting, the boy was as radiant as the blazing sun, effortlessly capturing her heart.

From then on, loving Zhou Canrong became the greatest secret of Ke Wen's life.

But they had never belonged to the same world.

She was just his little dog. As long as Zhou Canrong smiled, she was happy. She would be miserable if she couldn't stay by his side. She was the little dog he kept, obedient and silly, a silly little dog who wagged her tail for him alone.

The silly little dog followed close behind Zhou Canrong every day, quietly hiding her love. "Zhou Canrong, I'll always stay by your side, until... until you don't need me anymore."

Later, loving him hurt more and more, until her heart felt as if it were being torn apart. She resolved to change.

They parted without saying goodbye, leaving only her tears. "Zhou Canrong, you have to, you have to be happy."

But the day after she left, the usually proud young master found her new address and knocked on her door with pale knuckles. "Ke Wen."

Their eyes met. She caught sight of his suitcase, and Zhou Canrong flashed a brilliant smile. "Would you mind putting me up for the night?"

I still can't leave you.
