The Demon King's Thousand-Layered Schemes [Western Fantasy]

[Super-Hot, Handsome, Powerful Demon King x Soft, Adorable Angel with a Mysterious Past]

After her death, Jiang Cheng had her memories erased and was muddled through a transformation into a messenger bird. She thought her daily life would be that of a mail carrier in a peaceful heaven.

But on her first day at work, the post office manager took a gold-trimmed envelope from a wooden drawer and said coldly, like a machine, “This is your first assignment: deliver this letter to the Demon King in Satan’s Castle.”

With her head drooping, the little angel sensed trouble ahead. Fortunately, just after she walked out the front door of the post office, a kind stranger (?) came to her aid.

“Hey, birdie.”

The handsome young security guard (?) watching over Heaven’s gates stared right at her. “I know a shortcut to Satan City.”

Much later

The “handsome security guard” Jiang Cheng had mentioned sat on the Demon King’s throne, legs sprawled out, leaning on one arm as he arrogantly toyed with dark purple flames conjured in his palm.

Countless vicious criminals knelt at his feet, with no thought of resisting.

The breathtakingly beautiful young man paid them no mind and strolled toward her. Gu Wang leaned down, curling his lips as he looked up at her. He leaned close to her ear and murmured in a low, husky voice, “Baby, did you miss me?”
