Immortal Species

[My mistake. I set a publication time for this story's drafts years ago and forgot about it. I've paused the scheduled drafts for now. I'm sorry. I'll start updating again once the whole story is drafted.]

In the age of great mutations after a virus swept across the world, living things evolved all kinds of abilities.

People classified these abilities by strength, from Level 1 to Level 5.

Then one day, the authorities detected a very unusual ability: immortality.

*

Xiang Ning never expected that simply taking his school's ability-level exam

would turn him into the rare ability-user of legend, one who possessed immortality.

He was still wondering how he'd get through his heat cycle

when an Alliance officer came knocking at his dorm room. "Hello, Mr. Xiang Ning. This is the Alpha the Alliance has selected as the best match for you. We hope he can help you with your problem."

Xiang Ning slowly typed a single: ?

*

Later, a legend spread through the Alliance.

It was said that if you came across a big shot wearing an explosive-proof collar around his neck, you should never provoke him. He had a violent temper and hit hard. Supposedly, even the Alliance's strongest S-class had fallen to him.

Xiang Ning: ? That's just my bite collar, and the strongest S-class is my man. Please don't spread rumors, thanks.

Xiang Ning (high-attack, high-defense Omega bottom) x Lu Chuan (Alpha top who can't speak like a normal person)

*Team battles. Not everyone in the other forms looks human.

*An alternate world, alternate history, and fictional scientific theories. This is almost entirely a fictional story. The top's species has a rather unusual way of reproducing, so readers who are uncomfortable with that may want to steer clear.

*This story is part of a scheduled-release package and updates promptly every night at 9:00 p.m.
