In the Blue Star, Year 823 of the Superproduction Era, the vast wealth gap has split the planet into two worlds: the surface and the underground.
The surface dwellers make up just one percent of the population, yet they own the entire surface of the planet. They live in heavenly cities, enjoying warm sunlight, clean air, and every good thing the world has to offer.
The remaining ninety-nine percent live in filthy underground cities, never seeing daylight.
In the eyes of the beautiful, noble surface dwellers, those who live underground are no better than rats in a gutter.
The only chance for underground residents to return to the surface is to take the annual civil-service exam for domestic workers in the surface cities.
Though the job is nothing more than serving the surface city's masters hand and foot, countless people clamor for a chance to enjoy the warm sunlight and clean air.
That year, Ren Ming, a young woman who had transmigrated from Earth, takes the exam in hopes of embracing the sunlight again.
She places first on the written exam and in both interview rounds, earning a place in the final selection.
But no one tells her that the final selection has already been decided in advance.
The reason? The girl who got the job is pretty and can sing...
After spending everything she has on the exam, Ren Ming is utterly devastated by the result.
As someone who transmigrated from Earth, she can't bear the thought of spending her whole life without sunlight.
After her protests come to nothing, exhausted in body and mind, she chooses to remain illegally in the surface city and enjoy the last of the sunlight.
Sunlight is private property. Illegally sunbathing is punishable by death.
As she lies in the sun, waiting for her sentence, a strange holographic screen suddenly appears before her. It bears the words: Urban Legend Generator.

This is a venting piece, a brainless power fantasy. The heroine's mission is to wreak havoc across the world.
As long as the elites of the surface cities are unhappy, she's happy.
The surface-city elites were inspired by the Ultimate Owners in Liu Cixin's The Caretaker.

This is not a strong-female-lead story. The heroine is just an ordinary exam-focused student. She relies on her cheat, her mother, her father (including her biological father, adoptive fathers, and green, eco-friendly fake fathers), her friends (men, women, and nonhumans alike), and even luck.
