Qi Man found a summer job tutoring a high school senior at her home, but she never expected to meet such a troublemaker.

Shen Xia was nothing like her name suggested. She was arrogant and domineering, and though she was a girl, she could fight and smoke like a pro. She had tattoos and dyed hair, and was a force to be reckoned with in the neighborhood.

At their first meeting, Shen Xia was smoking, chin raised, her slightly childish face full of defiance.

Qi Man glanced at the girl's deliberately bared arm, which bore a tattoo of a nine-headed serpent, and smiled sweetly. "Nice tattoo."

Shen Xia: ???

Not long after they started spending time together, Shen Xia dressed herself up to look glamorous and enchanting, then transferred 10,000 yuan to Qi Man. "I'm not coming back tonight. Don't wait up."

Qi Man nodded without hesitation. "Okay."

But after Shen Xia left, Qi Man returned all the money to her mother.

At a bar, a friend asked how the new tutor was. Shen Xia sat lazily on the sofa and took a drag of her cigarette. Through the haze of smoke, her eyes glinted with disdain. "Her? She's just in it for the money."

When Shen Xia got into a fight with someone, however, the "money-hungry" tutor she talked about stepped in front of her.

Shen Xia: "Didn't I tell you not to get involved?"

Qi Man smiled, took the cigarette from her mouth, and put it between her own lips. "Sorry, I'm a VIP at this bar."

Later, Shen Xia often asked Qi Man what she liked about her.

Qi Man kissed her earlobe and smiled tenderly. "I like your little rebellious streak."
