A collection of short stories, written to hone my craft. The history is entirely fictional.

Xu Jiejie is a fresh university graduate, about to set off to teach in the most remote mountain village in Sichuan. He has no idea what strange and terrifying things await him over the coming year...

Story Three:

But the god's eyes are full of tenderness. Smiling down at him, he says, "High Priest, I'm back. Did you ever think of me?"
