Yang Jian Fanfiction: Drunk on Qingyuan, Seeking Joy

Yang Jian fanfiction

Yang Jian and Li Xunhuan

Please read the warnings first.

I'm a huge Yang Jian fan. I love Second Brother, especially Jiao Enjun's version.

Also, Yang Jian's characterization draws not only on Lotus Lantern, but also on Investiture of the Gods and the Yang Jian myths. As a fan, I won't have Second Brother be in love with Chang'e, feel inferior, or deliberately seek death... I want my Second Brother to always be that proud, unruly young man.

Wise and brave, resourceful, able to turn the world upside down, yet forever compassionate.

This story doesn't distinguish between the elder and younger Second Brother, or the elder and younger Cousin. A person's whole life is what makes them whole, so feel free to imagine them however you like.

Warning!!! I've heard that the Cousin's characterization is closer to the TV series. I haven't read the original novel or watched the original series, and have only looked up some information about the plot, so he's very likely to be out of character. The Cousin belongs to everyone, but any OOC is on me! If you can't accept that, just click the X in the upper-right corner! Please read the disclaimer in Chapter One!
