[Bleach X Soul Land] Dreamlike Ruin

Saving this here, also known as [Death God: Blue and Silver] The Flower in the Mirror and the Moon in the Water Endure Forever, Thirty-Six Thousand Worlds of Dust.

Apologies for the out-of-character moments. There are personal interpretations, and Captain Aizen is my favorite. I imagined what Aizen's Bankai might be like, but my brainpower is limited, so everyone, just have fun reading. This is just for my own enjoyment. Amen.

After rewatching the Thousand-Year Blood War while waiting for season four, I went back and revisited Captain Aizen from Bleach. I'd forgotten quite a few details, but suddenly felt the urge to pick up the Aizen and Gin pairing I'd been obsessed with years ago (too bad it's so unpopular), so I casually started a short-to-medium-length story.

Aizen and Gin are such a great pairing. After all these years, I've found that old fervor again.

Hate mingled with love, and fear became habit. Day after day, their companionship brewed instinctive concern and care, an effortless understanding, and a constant pursuit.

The title "Captain Aizen" had become a potent poison that was everywhere. It seeped slowly into every corner, leaving no blind spots, and changed, even shaped, their lives without either of them realizing it.

The sharpest blade in God's hand, whose Bankai becomes a spear that can kill God.

Kubo describes Aizen as a god, so the names of Gin's Zanpakuto are really interesting. Its Shikai is Shinso, God's Spear (the sharpest blade in God's hand), and its Bankai is Kamishini no Yari, God-Killing Spear. Whether it ultimately kills God or submits to God, willingly becoming the sharpest blade in God's hand, depends entirely on Gin's decision. While Aizen anticipates the surprise Gin will bring him (what method will he use to kill me?), he is also waiting for Gin to make his choice. Until then, Gin is Aizen's one and only lieutenant.
