Harry Potter: The Four Founders of Hogwarts

OOC warning: Aunt Rowling never clearly wrote about the Four Founders in the original books, so there are lots of author-invented details.

The story of the Four Founders of Hogwarts

Salazar Slytherin is shrewd, cunning, cruel, cold, and fiercely protective of his own. He is the only winged serpent in the Wizarding World today, with unmatched power.

Godric Gryffindor is cheerful, passionate, upright, and hates evil. He longs for peace and justice, a knight among wizards.

Rowena Ravenclaw is clever, erudite, aloof, and sharp. She yearns for knowledge and freedom, and is recognized throughout the Wizarding World as an inventor.

Helga Hufflepuff is sly, tolerant, kind, and broad-minded. She longs for peace and fellowship, a white dove of hope in the Wizarding World.

How did these four people, so different in temperament, come together and become close friends?

Watch the Four Founders meet and come to know one another, trust and stand by each other, grow, form deep bonds, overcome every obstacle to establish Hogwarts, and then... cross every barrier and a thousand years of time to continue shining a thousand years later.

P.S. The story set a thousand years later will come in a later part.

P.P.S. The confirmed pairings so far are Salazar and Godric (SSGG), Voldemort and Severus (LVSS), Grindelwald and Dumbledore (GGAD), and Rowena and Helga. I haven't decided on the others yet.

Reader's note: In this story, each of the Four Founders has a different Magical Creature lineage. There were more people with Magical Creature bloodlines a thousand years ago, and there are new systems of magic, among other things.

This story contains lots of author-invented Magical Creatures. I'm a student and haven't had time to watch the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie, so I've made things up myself. Magical Creatures a thousand years ago and a thousand years later are quite different, though. Maybe when I get to the story set a thousand years later, I can refer to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I'll try not to vilify or whitewash anyone, but I'm a Slytherin fan, so I may show some favoritism.
