Two-Faced

Wen Yu, the only daughter of the Court of Judicial Review's assistant minister, is famous for her lifelike paintings. But what she draws best are Class C, Grade Three books, which are books mainly featuring erotic encounters between men and women.

The most famous of these is the Indiscreet series.

Thanks to Xi He’s strict confidentiality policies for its talented writers, no one knows that the author of those steamy stories is an unmarried young woman.

But after she marries her childhood sweetheart, Jian Shiyin, Wen Yu gradually realizes that something is off.

Soon after she submits her latest book to the Ministry of Rites, she finds silk threads, pink cords, satin blindfolds, and oddly shaped devices in her bedchamber. Every single thing matches what appears in her book.

It's as if the scenes from the book are being acted out on her body.

Her newlywed husband is currently on duty at the Ministry of Rites. Wen Yu doesn't dare draw anymore, and she doesn't even dare send off the rest of the manuscript.

After she behaves herself for over a month, all is calm. Jian Shiyin doesn't ask her anything, and Wen Yu breathes a sigh of relief, thinking she must have imagined it.

But one day, Jian Shiyin flips through a book and asks in an unhurried voice, "Why did you stop drawing Indiscreet?"

Theme: Strive relentlessly.
