The Second Miss Qi is beautiful and exceptionally talented. Both the Crown Prince and Prince An admire her.
But she knows that in the future, Prince An will want her to die with him, while the Crown Prince will try to cage her. So she keeps her gaze fixed on that one person.
The Fifth Prince, Li Xuanjin, has always felt that the second daughter of the Weiyuan Marquis's household is not as dignified and well-mannered, gentle and obedient, as she appears. But he has no proof.
Until the night of the banquet, when her elder brother and fiancé chat animatedly in front of them. In the hazy candlelight, she looks at them with a composed expression. Yet behind their backs, she reaches out and gently traces circles around his waist, once, then again.
Li Xuanjin pauses and frowns as he catches her hand. Her slender, pale fingers lightly scratch his palm. Miss Qi tilts her head and silently mouths, "Your Highness."

Later, Li Xuanjin learns that she approached him not because she liked him, but because she had other designs, such as escaping a marriage she disliked and securing wealth and status. Still, she loves him all the same, and has some genuine affection for him.
Qi Chan tugs at his sleeve with a pitiful look. "Of course I have genuine feelings for Your Majesty."
Li Xuanjin sneers. "Where are these genuine feelings?"
"Though I don't love Your Majesty, I can act as if I love Your Majesty deeply, and only Your Majesty. I can be yours alone. Isn't my willingness to indulge you a genuine feeling?"
Li Xuanjin: "..."

When Shen Daining was young, she found a boy who had lost his memory. He had red lips, white teeth, and cool, clear features. She liked him very much.
After pursuing him for quite some time, he finally agreed to be with her.
Not long afterward, the boy fell and regained his lost memories, but he had forgotten everything about their time together.
When Shen Daining learned that he wasn't a poor orphan after all, but the Fourth Prince, who had been framed and left to wander among the common people, she said nothing about their relationship. She simply sent him back to the capital, while she stayed in the northern frontier.
Four years later, the boy became emperor. Her father, the Kangping Marquis, fell gravely ill in the capital, so she returned with her fiancé.
After she arrived, the new emperor treated her with considerable kindness out of gratitude for saving his life.
Everything was going wonderfully. (*^▽^*)
Until Shen Daining noticed that the new emperor's gaze had grown increasingly complicated and unfathomable, dark and brooding.
Fortunately, her father's health recovered, and Shen Daining prepared to hurry back to the northern frontier.
But on the day before she was to leave the capital, the door burst open with a bang. The newcomer wore a black robe embroidered with dragons and fixed her with a dark gaze. "Shen Daining, is there something you're hiding from me?"
Shen Daining's heart pounded. She stepped back. "N-no... nothing."
Hearing this, he reached out and lifted her chin, a chilling smile appearing on his face. "So you still want my daughter to keep calling someone else Father?"
After Liu Xu regained his memories, he finally understood why his heart had been in turmoil whenever he saw Shen Daining. It turned out he had once loved her.
But Shen Daining had been the one to pursue him and make him fall for her.
Yet as soon as she discovered that his identity wasn't what she had imagined, she couldn't wait to send him away.
And then she dared to get engaged to some other man.
Before he could decide how to deal with her, he discovered something else.
In the eighth month after he left the northern frontier, she secretly gave birth to a baby girl.
After the truth came out, Liu Xu came up with countless ways to torment Shen Daining.
However...
She shamelessly sat on his lap, wrapped both arms around his neck, and rubbed against him gently. "Dear husband... can you please not hold it against Dandan?"
The adorable little dumpling clung tightly to his leg and threatened him in a childish voice. "Father, if you don't forgive Mother, I'm going to cry."
Liu Xu: "..."
Damn it.
[Lighthearted, melodramatic sweet romance]
Theme: No matter the circumstances, never give up. Strive toward the future you hope for.
To be honest, I watched it in a skip, skipping part of Ruoxian, and skipping part of the finale. It does feel like it's a bit too much work. However, it fits the character of the heroine very well, it is very novel, the main plot is about emotions, and there is a heroine who is dedicated to herself. I also read some of the reviews, but I didn't expect it to have one star. Now I think it doesn't suit the taste and I won't give it one star. I was really affected by the reviews and felt that the plot was a bit draggy. Overall, the characters of the male and female protagonists just have to go through this. The last one is pretty good. It writes about how a ruthless person loves someone. I never like articles about abusing female protagonists, but this one shows that the female protagonist is extraordinarily tough and doesn't expect luck, so others can't abuse her. She is really a very courageous and powerful person. The shortcoming is obvious. When she meets someone who truly loves her, she cannot give her the same love. There is some pity for her. Obviously, the advantages do not come out of thin air. It is a person who longs for care but no one cares about her. She strives hard to make herself less likely to be hurt and to hide her heart. This also makes the plot more believable. Rather than simply asking everyone to love me, love is inherently conditional.
It feels a bit like Emperor Wu and Emperor Gaozong, but Ah Chan does not love power more than Xuan Jin. I like Ah Chan very much. I hope we can all meet our own Xuan Jin like Ah Chan.
... It doesn't look good from the back. I feel like the male protagonist has been PUAd.
How can I put it? I didn't see the heroine loving the hero in the whole story, even in the end, she only loved the hero a little bit. Then she said she was willing to change it in the finale. Then I bought the extra and found out that the author has been writing about the status of women. I really couldn't find any sweets. At the end, when the hero got old, he suddenly came up with a sweet sentence about a woman falling in love with the hero. I was really convinced. The author's other book, Scheming Beauty, is very good. Although it is less intelligent later, at least it doesn't make much sense. This book is really funny, and the male protagonist is better.
It felt very fresh at first. It is rare to write about girls chasing boys like this. After reading the ups and downs, joys and sorrows, although I did not feel the strong love and hatred, I only felt as plain as water. I cannot say that I empathize with them. It really made people think deeply. Maybe the best love is family love. I wish Qi Chan and Li Xuanjin forever.
I think it's really well written. Although people read romance novels just for the romance between the male and female protagonists, the emotional drama in this novel is not as satisfying as in other novels, so it's normal to feel dissatisfied. But I am particularly speechless about those comments that say the heroine is a work. Is this a work by the heroine? She is obviously calm, cruel, and clear-minded, and she puts love before all career interests. This is the true independent heroine, okay? In fact, I prefer the sweet and sweet little beauty. I don't like strong women like this type, but those comments really mean that the heroine's scruples and plans are only regarded as the work of love, which completely brings down the whole pattern of the heroine. The characterization is very good. The heroine is indeed not a good person, but she is definitely not a fool. Her starting point is not for the love of the hero. Life is not only about love. What's wrong with putting interests above love? I understand that I feel sorry for the male protagonist, and I think it makes sense to say that the female protagonist has bad views, but the female protagonist is really not a love-struck woman.
I thought I would write about the sweet daily life of a young couple, but I didn't expect that most of it would be about the children. It's a pity, I still want to watch the couple's side story.
Very good-looking. I like this male protagonist. It's hard to chase him, but when he does chase him, he is very dedicated.
How to put it, the heroine was deceived by that Ajaan and said that the queen in the palace was dead and let the heroine go. Starting from far away from the capital, I think this male protagonist is really amazing. Later I found out that he was lying to the heroine. The hero did not tell the outside world that the heroine was dead. It turned out that it was someone else who died, and the two have been at odds with each other ever since. It makes me so sad to see it. It's like the discomfort I felt when my husband and I had a fight and he didn't want me anymore. The heroine is also amazing, having experienced so much. Why doesn't she love the male protagonist? When the male protagonist neglects the female protagonist. She wasn't sad. But I was very sad. Later I found out that the heroine really won't be sad, and she doesn't love the hero. Ignore her. How could she be sad, hey.
I finished it in one go, it's a pretty good article
