Blurb:
[Frail, elegant, beautiful, strong-but-tragic bottom X Aloof, devoted top]
Movie star Xiao Yi transmigrates into a book as a sickly, beautiful prince.
The original body's family was rich and noble, but he was unlucky in love and turned evil halfway through the story. A mere cannon-fodder character, he constantly opposed the protagonist's group, used despicable means to frame the male lead and force the female lead into marriage, and ultimately died with the male lead's sword through his heart.
The moment Xiao Yi opens his eyes, he finds himself dressed as a woman, holding a knife to the female lead's face.
The chilling, deep gaze from the shadows belongs to Shen Ye, the male lead.
Xiao Yi: ...Can I still salvage this?
*
Who knew the original body would be so weak that Xiao Yi collapsed before he could pretend to faint?
The female lead glares at him and snaps, "Dying before you've been brought to justice? Isn't that letting you off far too easily?"
Shen Ye: "He needs mouth-to-mouth. He can be saved."
The female lead immediately prepares to give him CPR, but Shen Ye stops her.
"Men and women shouldn't touch. I'll do it." Shen Ye coldly examines Xiao Yi's beautiful face, lifts his chin, and presses their lips together.
*
Only by completing the System's mission and helping the male lead achieve a happy ending can Xiao Yi return to the real world.
To secretly help and save the male lead, Xiao Yi has no choice but to drag his chronically ill body around, constantly changing secret identities and putting on a dazzling performance.
When corpses rise in Jinling, he plays a zombie; when ghosts haunt a house in Jiangxia, he plays a ghost; when a cult rises in Luoyang, he plays an evil god...
Most importantly, he must endure humiliation and go undercover in the villain's faction, playing the big bad's loyal, unwavering lackey.
Apart from repeatedly running into Shen Ye and getting caught in women's clothes every time, Xiao Yi's mission goes smoothly enough. He rises to the top of the villain's faction, second only to its leader and above everyone else.
But as the time to close the net draws near,
the male lead, Shen Ye, begins looking at him differently. A royal prince, born of the emperor, with a heart for all under heaven, whose life is full of hardship, a beautiful, strong-but-tragic man who holds only the female lead in his heart. He is also the commander of the Imperial Brocade Guard.
"Lord Shen, though we may not share the same path, you've always been a kindred spirit and a good friend of mine." Xiao Yi smiles as he jokes.
Shen Ye's gaze turns cold. "Am I only a friend?"

May your passion never fade, may your heart remain true.
May you seek the truth, may you fear no difficult path.
May you travel the length and breadth of the land, may you find love.
May you savor this night, may your youth never go to waste.

Thank you for supporting the official version.
1. An unconventional transmigration-into-a-book story, with jianghu and wuxia elements. The main plot alternates with mystery-adventure episodes involving crime-solving and a touch of horror. Overall, it is high martial arts and low fantasy. The one slightly fantastical plot point only appears near the end. The plot takes up a somewhat larger share than the romance.
2. One-on-one. Frail, beautiful, strong-but-tragic characters are my thing, so the bottom has a rough time in this story. The main story does not have a traditional happy ending for everyone, but the extras include a hidden happy ending.
3. The book the bottom transmigrates into is an old-school het romance full of outrageous tropes. The female lead is very unlikeable and gets plenty of screen time, though she does grow later on.
4. The System disappears partway through, and whether it's there or not makes no difference to the plot...
5. The writing is a bit wordy at the beginning and might get a little better in the middle and later chapters (or so I think), so only read if you can accept that...

New historical male-male transmigration-into-a-book story: "Can the Frail White Moonlight Successfully Fake His Death Today?"
[Free-spirited, elegant, frail, beautiful, strong-but-tragic bottom X Sweet on the outside, dark within, sinister, ruthless, unhinged top]
Gu Qi transmigrates into a book as a cannon-fodder, sickly, beautiful young marquis.
He's given a mission: become "everyone's eternal white moonlight"
by dying a glorious death in a grand spectacle, so the whole world will remember him.
Amid the smoke of war and chaos, Gu Qi clears his name and rises through the ranks to become a Commandant of the Palace Guards.
People of the time often see the most dazzling young man in Jincheng:
With his frail, graceful beauty, he holds a silver spear, blood like silk binding his armor.
One day, Gu Qi casually rescues a blind, tearful little boy from a bright red bridal sedan.
The little boy is weak and delicate, his paper-thin body trembling like a sieve.
Like a little hedgehog who wants no strangers near him, he can't bear anyone touching him.
Gu Qi gently pries open his tightly clenched fingers, one by one;
uses osmanthus candy to coax open his tightly shut lips;
cleans the wounds covering his body, inch by inch;
personally makes him a jade-and-bamboo cane to help him find his way;
gives him his own personal weapon to protect himself;
and even risks using a forbidden technique that suppresses his own chronic illness to treat the boy's sudden attacks.
"Ninth Brother, why did you save me back then?"
Gu Qi, aloof from the mortal world, shields his colorless, nearly transparent lips with his fingertips:
Ahem, whoever admits he was smitten at first sight is a dog!
Later, the little boy always pulls Gu Qi over to warm his bed;
always asks whether he can have one more piece of candy;
always clings to the doorframe, squeezing his snow-white, sightless eyes as wide as they can go, eagerly waiting for Gu Qi's victorious return. A cinnabar mole between his brows trembles with a faint glow.
"Ninth Brother, I want to stay by your side forever. Please don't abandon me!"
"Little Horse, as long as I'm alive, I'll take care of you."
Knowing he doesn't have long to live, Gu Qi kisses, hugs, and lifts the little boy without a care in the world.
*
For some inexplicable reason, Gu Qi's mission always falls apart at the last moment.
When the enemy nation invades, he goes to war again, sickly but wild, and dies a hero's death that will be remembered for a thousand years.
But when he opens his eyes again
...he's in the enemy king's bed.
On the bed, the blind youth has restrained his frenzied killing intent. His fingers trail over Gu Qi's hair and lips, his breath brushing his neck, both fierce and tender:
"Well, well, look who's here... my secret lover. You stole my bride back then... Are you planning to seduce me and then abandon me now?"
*
Everyone says that the new emperor of Great Jin, Sima Qian, who seized the former dynasty's throne, is a madman:
Sinister and ruthless, cruel and capricious.
A furrow of his brow can kill someone without a trace;
with a curl of his lips, he can smile as he orders the dead to be buried with honors.
Everyone from every faction lives in terror,
afraid of drawing his attention and suffering a massacre or having their city burned to the ground.
Gu Qi watches his "little crybaby" thwart his attempts to fake his death again and again.
His pale, fragile, sickly body can no longer hide,
and as his shoulders shake violently, he vomits a pool of bright red blood.
Sima Qian sneers, licks the blood from his lips, savoring its metallic sweetness, fierce as a demon. He flips Gu Qi onto his back and presses him beneath himself:
"What a beautiful night, what a perfect match. Husband, shall we finally consummate our marriage today?"
*
The sensation is enough to melt his soul and shatter his bones, shooting straight to his head.
Gu Qi's life is nearly nine-tenths gone.
Wait, why must sacrificing yourself be limited to one form?
Suddenly, inspiration strikes.
That night, the palace attendants once again hear drunken, delirious moans from the emperor's bedchamber:
"...Your Majesty... harder~~~"

Theme: Though fate may toy with us in countless ways, there are still people whose hearts turn toward the light.
Author, do you have any deep grudge against Shoujun? I really couldn't watch the previous part, thinking that there would be some twist in the back, but I skipped a few chapters to read it. Shou was still as miserable as ever, and it all ended, and he was still miserable. If you treat Shoujun better, I can continue to follow it. The plot is really attractive to me, but I feel so frustrated after watching it.
The shaping of Gong is not very good indeed. Although there are some literal shaping of the words related to elegance, it always feels a bit flat. He is quite good, but it feels not vivid ()
If they are both gay, does it matter if they are brothers? Anyway, they can't have children? I don't understand the reason why this identity must be changed.
It's quite embarrassing in some places. In fact, it feels like calling my mother mother, but it would be very suitable if it were in the form of a storyteller2333.
The emperor, the queen, and the original heroine are more like a family. Why don't they die?
Again, it's rare to see a novel where the protagonist is so cruel to himself. How do you look forward to it every day?
I ask every day, this is a HE article, I really can't imagine how they will be together in the future, and in what capacity they will be together, ahhhhhh, my little kitten
Actually be(óò?)
How should I put it? It feels like the protagonist has a very obvious sense of detachment now, even though he said before that he would feel and experience this world well. But now the plot makes me feel like the protagonist has broken a jar, a sense of failure in completing the task. In addition, the environment is really harsh. If you want to heal your body and mind and return to the original modern mental state, you have to be isolated from this environment. In this way, the existence of another protagonist seems to be a burden. So what to do?
Well, how should Xiao Yi choose? From what I see now, it seems that I want to sacrifice myself to help others, well, what should I do?
