I Must Cross the Himalayas After Transmigrating to Ancient India

1. The gates of the palace open beneath the nine heavens, and envoys from every nation bow before the emperor. The Tang is rich in treasures and culture, standing atop the world. This is the Tang Dynasty! How glorious! Lu Hui stood on a mound of earth no taller than a person in ancient India, a contemporary of the Tang, raising both hands in passionate excitement. "The waters have run dry, leaving the cold pools clear; the evening haze gathers, turning the twilight mountains purple. Wang Bo and Luo Binwang! These are the brightest treasures of the distant East! How about it, brothers? Come with me over the Himalayas. Miracles and meat pies are waiting for us on the other side!" "Gibberish, gibberish..." "Come on, that kid's gone mad." "Mad at just ten years old. What a poor thing." "Xiao Hui, grab your pickaxe. Time to dig!" The bell signaling the start of work rang, and the laborers scattered. Lu Hui sighed, hopped down from the mound with a sprig of Indian foxtail grass between her teeth, and raised a fist to the sky. She, Lu Wei, had to get back to the Tang! But should she take the route traveled by the monk Xuanzang, or the route traveled by Wang Xuance? 2. Wang Xuance was a famous sickly young man in Chang'an. He wore winter clothes in summer and coughed up blood whenever the wind blew. He was also a notorious young wastrel, causing trouble every day. In short, he was all bluster and no skill, yet loved to play, and often ended up bruised and battered. Just when Wang Xuance thought life would always be this dull, he found a mechanical castle. Inside was a little iron figure who went hungry and wore ragged clothes every day, yet often climbed onto the roof at sunrise and raised a fist to the heavens. His cloak fluttered in the wind, bearing the words "Tang Dynasty, I'm coming!" Wang Xuance laughed so hard he coughed and coughed, wiping the blood from his mouth with a handkerchief. He happily spent his days watching the little castle, until one day a line of text appeared on the cloak: "Wang Xuance, how old are you this year?" Wang Xuance's eyes widened, and he fell off his stool. P.S. Wang Xuance was a legendary figure of the Tang Dynasty who single-handedly defeated the armies of Tianzhu, captured its king, and brought him back to the Tang. Theme: A happy home.
