My upcoming novel, Taming the Wolf, is open for pre-saves. Please add it to your collection~ The blurb is at the end. I also recommend my friend's great novel, Transmigrated into a Player, Every Day Is a Shura Field, by Jintian Youdian Tian.
Ye Miao'an was supposed to receive the greatest honor of all: entering the palace to be buried alive with the dying emperor. Unexpectedly, Li Zhun, the Imperial Stables' chief eunuch, replaced her with a corpse and took her as his wife.
A eunuch stealing a bride, and stealing the emperor's bride at that. He deserved to be disemboweled, chopped to pieces, and fried in oil.
But Li Zhun pulled Ye Miao'an out of the fiery pit of the chastity archway and helped her understand that she wasn't an object or a plaything, but a living, breathing person with flesh and blood.
So Ye Miao'an says that what makes a man truly stand tall isn't the two little family jewels between his legs, but an unbreakable, unyielding backbone.
A noble family's illegitimate daughter X a scheming fake eunuch. Married first, love later. Sweet romance, 1v1, happy ending.
Warnings: The male lead has a one-sided crush at first. The female lead has a fake white moonlight and is rather weak early on, but she'll grow stronger later. The male lead is a fake eunuch, and everything works well in that department.
Plot-driven, with scheming over the crown prince's position and power struggles involving the eunuch faction, alongside the sweet romance.
Set in an imaginary Ming Dynasty, with a historical setting. The characters' values are shaped by their historical environment, so please don't judge their actions by modern standards~
Pre-save my upcoming novel, Taming the Wolf:
[A princess sent to marry for the sake of peace, with ideals VS a wild, seductive young wolf. Happy ending]
Raised in luxury in the splendid palace for fifteen years, the Princess of Nanping never imagined she would one day leave her homeland to marry into the highlands.
She had no choice but to put aside her youthful feelings and the reserve expected of the emperor's cherished daughter.
What she never expected was to meet such a handsome young man in the snowy lands.
His passion burned like a fire, and his eyes were as clear as a sacred lake.
"I am Cuolun," he asked in halting Chinese. "What are you?"
His white teeth gleamed. The Princess of Nanping thought he looked like a young wolf with newly sharpened fangs.
She wrote her name in his palm. The boy was delighted, playing the zhamunie for her beneath the moonlight.
"You're so beautiful," he said. "More beautiful than a gesang flower. I want to marry you and treat you well for the rest of my life."
Nanping smiled. How could she take that seriously? She had traveled a thousand miles to marry his older brother, Zanduo.
The men here were all like wolves, wild to the core. To them, women were only prey. How could they promise a lifetime?
But the boy's gaze before her was so fiery, so full of feeling.
*
In the third year of Princess Nanping's marriage, her husband in name only went on a military campaign in Guangxia and never returned.
The highland throne changed hands, and the tribes waged war against one another. Year after year, the young wolf with newly sharpened fangs grew into a mighty alpha.
The young Cuolun inherited the throne and finally married the woman he loved, Nanping.
Only then did he learn that her heart belonged not to him, but to the spring willows of her homeland.
But he wasn't afraid. Time could wear away any distance between them.
A lifetime meant a lifetime.
Love between a man and woman paled beside the vast land and its people. The two nations were at peace, the tribes were united, and the herders sang with joy.
He would protect her for a lifetime, helping her dreams bloom into gesang flowers on this cold, barren land.
*The setting is entirely imaginary, with no basis in historical fact. Every plot detail is fictional, so please don't nitpick the history.
Theme: My fate is mine to decide, not Heaven's.
Wuwuwuwu is not cured at all, unless there is a CP extra story about the reincarnation of Zhao Chang and Hongyu. Instead of being as miserable as Zhang Fei and the beast, there must be a strange Lolita and a smart boy fighting and having a family and a family full of children. Wuwuwuwu
A short and superb article, but when I read the content, it always reminded me of Xiao Duo and Buyin Lou in the Pagoda.
I call this healing :)
It's really, really good to watch. I actually quite enjoy reading this kind of short story, unlike some long stories where the plot is dragged out just to make up for the word count.
So well written! Discover Treasures Author.
