There's a Knife Shop in Yokohama

My name is Liu Lang. Liu, as in Badao; Lang, as in wildly reckless. I used to be a Badao player who froze to death at the summit of the martial world... Sorry, I misspoke. I was a Badao player. Can't help misspeaking when the wind at the summit of the martial world is so fierce it makes me shiver all over and panic inside. Anyway, after I froze to death at the summit of the martial world (Arena rank 13), I somehow ended up in Yokohama. With all my papers in order, I became Imagawa Liulang in the body of my game character. I live in Chinatown. My main business is selling kitchen knives, and I occasionally sell handcrafted props, figurines, and merchandise too... In other words, I'm still a blacksmith. Our family's knives originally supplied the restaurants in Chinatown, but before long they'd all stocked up. This poor guy, whose parents were both dead and who had neither a car nor a house, was forced to change careers and make a living sharpening scissors and knives, pedaling around Chinatown every day and calling out to customers. Later, the introduction of ceramic knives put me out of work again. Just as I was fretting over what to do, I found a sick person. While taking him to the doctor, I met my future business partner, Mr. Mori Ogai, and one offhand remark from him gave me a huge burst of inspiration. From then on, my family's knife ads read: "Even the mafia says these knives are great! Why not get one for yourself? Think of it as self-defense!" Told entirely in first person. Updates whenever. Dazai pairing, a silly everyday comedy with sweet moments, though sometimes the jokes don't quite land. Secondary pairings: Chuuya from the IF timeline and Ranpo from this world. Featuring overworked Akutagawa, overworked Oda Sakunosuke, assassin Tanizaki Junichiro, a health-conscious old-timer Nakahara in the Armed Detective Agency, exploitative boss Mori, and business partner Fitzgerald. Read the warnings first. Theme: Protect traditional professions.
