Blurb:
When Ye Jinyi opened her eyes again, she had become a minor celebrity so obscure she was practically beneath notice. She had no acting skills and a pile of scandals. Her situation was miserable, and her luck was so bad it could bring you to tears.
First, a variety show terminated her contract. Then she hit a big shot's luxury car. Before she could catch her breath, a rival in showbiz dragged her onto the trending list, and the paparazzi shoved their microphones in her face.
"Ye Jinyi, did you hit Boss Qin's car on purpose to get attention?"
"Ye Jinyi, is it true you deliberately stepped on Best Actress Xiao's dress at an awards ceremony?"
"Someone says you went to Director Cui's place in the middle of the night to ask for sexual favors and got turned down. Is that true?"
"Everyone on Weibo is saying Ye Jinyi should get out of showbiz. What do you have to say about that?"
"People say you eat a lot and would be good at food streaming. Have you thought about changing careers?"
What the hell do I have to say about it? Ye Jinyi yanked open the car door and stepped out. Her alluring eyes swept over the people thrusting microphones at her. "Who's this boss of yours?" Then she curled her red lips into a cold smile. "Qin Jin? Don't know him, don't date him, and have no interest in marrying into a rich family just to become a widow. Thanks." Her tone paused, but the mocking curve of her lips stayed put. She turned her icy gaze toward the second reporter. "With that much silicone, her breasts could poison someone. Wouldn't taking her dress off be an assault on the audience's eyes?" A gleeful, teasing look suddenly flashed in her eyes. "But your Best Actress is going to get her legs broken for slandering someone like that."
After putting two reporters in their place, she gave a little yawn. "Does that Director Cui still have time to demand sexual favors? He can come by the station tomorrow for tea and find out." Then she glanced at the last two reporters, her smile suddenly sincere. "Get out of showbiz? That's impossible. But I might consider changing careers. Follow foodie Ye Jinyi on Weibo. Three readings a day, 99,999 yuan each. If I'm wrong, I'll pay you one million."
With that, she tossed a wad of cash from her bag onto the windshield of the big shot's Maybach, raised an eyebrow at him over her sunglasses, and swaggered out of the parking lot. Her red skirt fluttered in the wind.
The next day, the entertainment world exploded.
A well-known Director Cui was arrested for drug use. A popular Best Actress, who was the secret lover of a real estate mogul, broke her leg in a panic when the mogul's wife caught them in the act.
One day, Boss Qin knocked on Ye Jinyi's door. He took off his sunglasses, hung them from her chest, lifted her chin, and smiled. "I heard I'm not very good in certain areas, and marrying me would mean a lifetime as a widow. Want to give it a try, Jinyi?"
Ye Jinyi smiled seductively, rose onto her tiptoes, and looped her arms around his neck. Her red lips brushed his ear as she breathed softly, "Boss, want your fortune told? The reading says your fate is missing me!"

Blurb:
After dying, Ye Sui Sui finally learned that she wasn't the Ye family's biological child. The Ye family's tragic fate had supposedly been caused by her destiny: she was fated to have few family ties and bring misfortune to her relatives. Meanwhile, her biological family, the Chen family, had abandoned her and profited from her death, rising higher and higher in life.
When she opened her eyes again, she was back in 1997, not yet four years old. Her eldest brother was herding cattle for people who always refused to pay him. Her eldest sister was about to drop out of school because they couldn't afford her tuition. Her second sister was still in third grade, timid and insecure because of the red birthmark on her face, and hadn't yet been driven to death by a scumbag. And the father who had found her, taken her home, and raised her was still alive and well.
Ye Sui Sui clenched her fist. In this life, she would give her family a wonderful and fulfilling future. As for the Chen family, if they dared to harm her family again, she wouldn't mind making them taste what it was like to lose everything.
If anyone dared to keep her brother's herding fees, she'd make the bad guys bring twice the amount in both hands and beg for forgiveness. If her eldest sister couldn't afford school, she'd hire nationally renowned professors to teach her one-on-one for free. And as for the red mark on her second sister's face, whoever was responsible could take the blame themselves. She wouldn't go easy on relatives, either.
A black tiger brought a wild boar to repay a favor, and the wolf pack leader brought ginseng to show its gratitude. She punished a principal who was a monster in human skin, helped her neighbors avert calamities and escape ill fates, went to Yancheng to eliminate the Black Dragon Sha, and to Haicheng to seal the Dragon-Locking Well. She even battled metaphysics masters from overseas. Before she knew it, Ye Sui Sui had traveled all over the country, growing from a little girl into a graceful young woman. Then, on her eighteenth birthday, a man showed up at her door.
He said she had been using the betrothal gifts he'd given her for years, and that they had already sealed a marriage pact. Ye Sui Sui couldn't just take him for a ride and abandon him.
Ye Sui Sui stared speechlessly at that familiar face. "Does your father know you treat the person who saved your life this way?"
The man chuckled. "My mortal father in this life agrees that I should repay you for saving my life by offering myself to you."
Only on the night Ye Sui Sui was carried off and thoroughly ravished did she realize that the boulder she'd moved all those years ago had blocked not only a benefactor and good fortune, but had also saved her destined partner.

Theme: I control my fate, not heaven!
It seems a bit hypocritical for a 99-year-old person to say this. The author could improve it next time.
Not mediocre. Every line has an ending. Like it.
Ah this. There was too little emotional foreshadowing in the past, and now it's a good drama...
After chasing, scatter flowers! From the newly published article, I can clearly feel that the author's writing skills have improved rapidly. What has not changed is his absolutely upright and kind outlook and his warm and sincere love for beautiful things. Best wishes.
I like this story, thank you so much to the author. [To call a doting girl a little girl, is this the Northeastern way of calling it?
Ah? Aren't you allowed to speak?
Hahahahahahahaha let you talk nonsense
Even though it's late, arriving, well, is better than never arriving.
The master must be the ascended immortal! Ask the Fairy Queen's husband?
Good and evil are rewarded in a cycle of cause and effect, so good, so good!
