1: This was an early attempt at a new genre, so I don't recommend reading it. The novel is complete, and it has a groveling-to-win-her-back arc. The female lead has already been reborn when the story opens, but there are some angsty parts. If you'd like to read it in chronological order, starting with details from her previous life, I recommend starting with Chapter 47 of the extras. You absolutely must read the extras, since they fill in the details, give more of the male lead's perspective, and are sweet. They could even count as part of the main story. Then start the main story from the beginning. I also recommend avoiding pirated copies online. I occasionally revise the earlier chapters, so what you find may not be the original version. Here's the blurb:
Dou Zhao had a marriage that others envied. Her betrothed was an immortal lord who had already ascended.
She was merely an unremarkable junior apprentice in a cultivation sect in the mortal realm.
Everyone who saw her would make a sour remark: "How on earth did Dou Zhao get so lucky as to become engaged to an immortal lord?"
And she was constantly given a hard time.
Dou Zhao never said a word about it. She trained with everything she had.
All so that one day she could calmly slap that marriage contract in the immortal lord's face and call off the engagement!
She thought, "I died at his hands in my last life. Do you want to take my so-called good fortune?"
2:
Ten thousand years ago, Immortal Lord He Jing was immensely powerful and beautiful, the object of every female immortal's affection.
But he was aloof and arrogant, cold and heartless, sharp-tongued and cruel, driving all those female immortals away.
Only one, named Dou Zhao, refused to give up. She followed him around, calling out to him in a clear, smiling voice, shamelessly as ever:
"A Jing, you're even more handsome today than you were yesterday."
"A Jing, you're amazing! You drove off ten thousand demons all by yourself!"
"A Jing, A Jing, look! I made a new dress. Isn't it pretty?"
Immortal Lord He Jing couldn't take it anymore. No matter how often he tried to chase her off, she wouldn't leave, so he had no choice but to let her follow him.
**
A traitor in the immortal realm had joined forces with the demon realm. He had once been an immortal lord's closest friend, and now he came to assassinate their greatest enemy, Immortal Lord He Jing.
That day, Dou Zhao came to see him wearing her new dress. She took the blow from the Immortal-Slaying Sword for him, but what hurt her was the flute Immortal Lord He Jing had stabbed through her back.
Blood stained Dou Zhao's new dress. She still held another new outfit, the same shade of blue, and smiled at him:
"A Jing, d-don't cry. The new clothes... one for me, one for you."
Dou Zhao's soul scattered, and Immortal Lord He Jing suddenly went mad. He wore the same outfit for ten thousand years, spending all that time gathering her soul back together.
He knelt before her and begged, pleading, "Zhaozhao, don't leave me again."
Reading Guide:
1: HE!! You absolutely must read the extras!!! They fill in the details! If you skip them and complain or make up your own plot, I won't accept it!
2: The blurb has two parts. The first is mainly from the female lead's perspective, and the second is mainly from the male lead's. Don't jump to conclusions before all the foreshadowing is resolved. Any insults directed at the author will bounce right back. Most importantly, there are no real-life inspirations, so don't associate the characters with real people!!! I love both my leads!
2: The main theme is putting the male lead through the wringer. The male lead is "not normal" in both his past and present lives. I don't know how else to describe it. If I say too much, I'll spoil things, though I really want to. Please be patient with A Jing. If you can't wait, start with the extras, and the earlier story, even the senior brother's identity, will suddenly make sense.
3: The female lead gets a new life, but she doesn't return to the past. The story begins after she gets a new life. Updates daily, usually at night. If I need to take a day off, I'll say so in the blurb, the comments, or on Weibo.
My completed novel next door, The Demon Emperor Wants to Make a Pact with Me Every Day, is waiting to be devoured~

Theme: Grow through adversity and find a beautiful love
Author, is Liu Qingqing actually Qianxue?
Has Senior Brother merged with He Jing? Are the memories shared?
I can't swallow Yun Duo'er's breath, I'm so angry. . . I was disgusted by this female supporting role. . .
Tianhua's death is too simple
Good review: I like the large writing.
Second brush, it's really nice
Good guy Qianxue is really good
It would be great if Qianxue is back
Qianxue is so miserable Tianhua died too easily
Ah~ I've finished reading it. The back part of this book is so sweet that it makes up for the glass shards at the front.
