1.
Zheng Chen finally caught his archenemy.
He showed no mercy, about to strangle the man who had dogged his every step, obstructing him and telling him to mend his ways.
The next moment, he heard the voice of a "god."
But why was this "god" talking about "fujoshi"? What was a "forum"? And why was it calling him its "sweet, sweet wife"? Why were they discussing adding "a little something" to his body?
How strange.
2.
Zheng Chen released the man in a disheveled state, then rushed into the restroom in the middle of the operation.
Five minutes later, he emerged deathly pale, grabbed his most trusted deputy, and said in a trembling voice, "I think... something's wrong with me."
The deputy bowed respectfully. "You are perfect, Chief. Always."
"N-no... You have to check for me."
The deputy checked him over, then stared at him, his Adam's apple bobbing.
"You... are fine."
At last, Zheng Chen managed to escape that excruciatingly embarrassing situation. Then, one night, he awoke from a light sleep at the sound of a faint noise.
His deputy was kneeling beside the bed, a finger hovering an inch above the buttons of his pajamas. Tendrils writhed in restraint in the shadows, and a dark, feverish heat burned in his eyes, something Zheng Chen had never seen before.
"I'm just checking on you, Chief."

Slaying the Strange is a hit shonen manga. Its plot follows the protagonist as he encounters one incident after another, purifies the strange, and saves the world.
Zheng Chen is the manga's most notorious yet wildly popular villain, the protagonist's sworn enemy.
But lately, the manga's story has started to go off the rails.
More and more strange beings are appearing around Zheng Chen.
Eyes beneath the bed, faint breathing beneath the pillow, damp patches slowly spreading across the bedding...
They don't want to do evil. They just want to get close to him, touch him, and push him until he lets his guard down.
Humiliated but with no other choice, he has to ask his archenemy to drive them all away.
His archenemy agrees, then stares straight at him for a long moment.
"You seem... cuter lately."
Zheng Chen gets goosebumps and punches him.
"Don't say creepy things in broad daylight!"
What's going on? What on earth is going on??
It's as if some mysterious outside force is affecting everyone: his archenemy, his subordinates, and even the strange beings.
No matter how hard he hits them, all they feel is an indescribable thrill, blood streaming from their noses.
What do you mean, I'm not hitting hard enough?
Zheng Chen is on the verge of a breakdown.
Reader's guide:
1. Most likely my next book: a chaotic supernatural harem battlefield where a straight man is turned gay through obsessive, domineering pursuit.
2. The villain is supposed to scare people into dropping to their knees and crying, but now they're standing up and getting nosebleeds instead. What a disgrace to villainy!
They're going all out with their fan devotion, completely losing themselves! Add it to your reading list if you're interested! Let's all worship together!
