Zou Jing has a special ability.
Before falling asleep, he can automatically plot out his dreams and control them while fully conscious.
Anyone who gets on his nerves gets remade in his dreams by the Thunder Lord.
The client's arrogant young heir from work? A seasoning.
A celebrity he happened to see with a pretty face? A side dish.
His boss is too mean. Only those bulging pectorals are of any use, so he'll use them as a footstool.
This world is full of hateful dragon nobles with strange bloodlines. All those arrogant, untouchable dragon nobles who look down on him end up at his mercy in his dreams, eyes reddened, helpless to resist.
He wakes up refreshed after a dream, crawls through the workday, and hones his stress-relief skills in his sleep.
He gloomily and expertly replies "Received" to work messages. Dreams are only dreams, but at least this little bit of self-consolation keeps his mental illness from erupting at the slightest trigger.
But Zou Jing suddenly notices that the people from his dreams are acting very strangely. They keep finding reasons to approach him, and their eyes have started to look odd.
Well, that's weird.
I'll just drag them into my dreams and give them another round.
"So you're showing signs of ancestral reversion, and you've grown horns and a tail?"
"...Yes, Doctor."
"Did you have any symptoms beforehand?"
"...No. Doctor, I have a few friends who are like this too. Could this be some kind of widespread phenomenon?"
"This isn't widespread. You should think carefully about whether you've experienced some kind of intense stimulation."
"This stimulation awakened your mating instincts, causing your bodies to change so you could continue your bloodlines."
"For example, nesting or lactating."
He was just an insignificant human, a pebble no one would notice. They came from entirely different worlds and should never have had any further dealings with each other.
Until they started dreaming.
The people they became in their dreams were terrifyingly unfamiliar. They lost their senses, revealed their true selves, and saw nothing but the master of the dream. They were willingly manipulated however the other person pleased.
How could they react like that?
How could they make those sounds?
How could they... have dreams like that?
As the dreams grew more frequent, their initial shock and anger seemed to turn into something else.
Reality grew increasingly stifling and empty.
Why couldn't a beautiful dream... come true?
Notes:
1. Just an idea for now. Feel free to add it to your reading list if you like it.
2. A dream-invasion setup with nonhuman elements. Nesting and lactating refer to the gong. They go from dismissing him to craving him, then fighting over him.
3. The general setup is that he's treated like a workhorse during the day, which stresses him out, so at night he rides his bosses like workhorses in his dreams and exploits them in every way.
4. Not just the bosses.
