There are four types: joy, anger, sorrow, and fear. There's always one that'll drag you straight to hell.

Death in the game means real death.

On his first day in the game, Lu Sheng is tricked into binding himself to a partner.

The partner seems perfectly normal, with no sign of emotional instability.

The man says, "The System's probably blind."

Much later, Lu Sheng realizes the man has no emotional issues. He's just a little abnormal as a person.

Shen Qi, an upstanding citizen, is killed while heroically helping someone. When he opens his eyes, he's been dragged into a horror game.

Shen Qi, the weakling with five points of combat power and terrible luck: I'm alive, but not entirely alive. -_-

A small screen in an inconspicuous corner of the plaza goes dark without a sound. As viewers sigh over the promising newcomer meeting his end, Shen Qi is bound hand and foot in a freezing territory deep in the darkness.

He gasps as he's bitten and can't help asking, "Could we try a different position?"

Hidden boss: ?

Shen Qi notices that some bosses in the dungeons seem to hold a strange grudge against him, always targeting him in a group.

The Nth time he's dragged into a little dark room, Shen Qi looks at the vicious boss across from him and says helplessly, "Do you have some kind of special fetish?"

Then he watches the boss's pointed ears visibly turn red.

The evil, violent Game God has created a cruel amusement park, delighting in human fear and savoring the spread of despair.

Cold and arrogant, he never expected that the beloved of the gods would one day ascend to the clouds and claim the crown meant for him.

P.S. Inspired by cosmic horror, Call of Cthulhu roleplaying, and similar settings. Most of it is made up. If you ask, it's my own interpretation.

The plot comes first, with some power progression, but the protagonist is definitely no ordinary person.

The top isn't the Game God, but he has lots of skins. He's got a grudge against the bottom, but he can't help being in love with him.

If you're a fan of either character, read with care. Let's all keep things pleasant.

There will be a little livestream content early on, less than ten percent. Once the setting has been established, there won't be much more.
