Players Are Always Invading Earth

As a single-player space strategy game fan, Earthling Yuan Si led his empire to the pinnacle of the universe in a game. After beating it, he got bored, uninstalled it, and promptly forgot all about it. Until The interstellar fleet from the "game" descended upon Earth. At that moment, Yuan Si finally understood. He hadn't been playing a single-player game. He'd been playing an online game as an NPC, and he himself was an NPC. Now the players wanted to inherit his empire, and had even invaded Earth. He reinstalled the game and logged back into his account. Yuan Si (smiling): Let's see who's dreaming. * A newcomer asks about the new map. Player Legion: ...We didn't find any relics of the empire, and we even brought the emperor himself back to life! This NPC is ridiculously strong and has a terrible temper. Be careful when you take his quests! We've been wiped out three times! The legion doesn't even have enough money to buy new ships and return to base! Yuan Si: What are you up to, hmm? Player Legion: Your Majesty, we haven't been slacking off! We're mining. We'll get right back to it! Theme: Gaming becomes cutting-edge technology, and from behind the scenes, he leads Earth into the interstellar age.
