Raising a Dragon Girlfriend

[Similar upcoming story: A Handbook for Raising Yourself into a Dragon's Daddy]

When Bella opened her eyes, she discovered she had become a dragon hatchling, surrounded by countless gold coins and jewels.

She was ugly, but rich.

But then Bella realized that even as a dragon, she still had to go to school!?

Bella sadly left her cave and saw a dazzling golden creature

His hair shone brighter than gold coins, and his eyes were more captivating than jewels.

Bella froze. "Mom, I see an angel..."

Angel: "My name is Lancelot. I'll be your academy guide for the next year."

Bella earnestly held out a dragon claw. "I like you. Can I keep you as a pet?"

Thinking Bella wasn't fluent in the common tongue, Lancelot smiled and corrected her. "We can be friends."

Bella: So once we're friends, can I officially keep him as a pet?

Thinking about how she could eat this glittering creature one day, Bella secretly wiped away her drool and said excitedly, "I'll treasure you!"

The elf blushed.

Later, Lancelot taught Bella how to take human form, braided her hair, bought her dresses, tutored her, and served as her training partner. He was unquestionably the most dedicated hatchling guide at the academy.

As they spent time together, Lancelot realized that he had fallen for Bella, too.

He plucked up his courage and confessed, "Bella, I want to marry you."

Bella looked genuinely confused. "How could a dragon marry food?"

"..."

The elf's heart shattered.

*

The newly crowned Elf King was volatile and capricious, forever wearing an expression that said, "Come near me and die."

The academy sent Bella into the forest to deliver an invitation to the new king's celebration.

The moment Bella stepped into the forest, she fell asleep. When she woke, she was locked in a golden cage surrounded by magical restraints, transformed into a giant dragon being kept as a pet.

She tried to reason with the guards, but they told her, "This is the Elf King's command."

Lancelot appeared outside the cage.

Bella: "Lance, did your Elf King capture the wrong person?"

The glittering elf slowly approached. He lifted Bella's chin with the scepter that symbolized his royal authority and gave her a cold smile. "My dear Bella, I'm the one who wants to keep you as a pet."

"...Huh?"

Upcoming story: A Handbook for Raising Yourself into a Dragon's Daddy

When Jiang Yao woke up, she was locked in a golden cage. On a high platform, a horned monster shouted in a language she couldn't understand. Below, everything was dark, and several pairs of eerie eyes began to glow.

A deep voice said, "Fifty thousand crystal coins, plus a small asteroid."

The speaker was paying a fortune to buy this human.

Bang! The gavel fell.

The cage was covered with a pure gold curtain. Jiang Yao, a rare human pet sold at an exorbitant price, was sent to her new owner.

The Duke of Solitary Mountain, the aloof and brutal Golden Dragon who made everyone tremble in fear.

[Bonus Scene]

The evil dragon's eyes were larger than basketballs. Its sharp claws were as thick as Jiang Yao's waist, and its massive body sprawled across a towering mountain of gold coins. Curled horns twisted above its head, casting a shadow like an evil demon.

Jiang Yao trembled, convinced that her death was near.

The evil dragon tossed her a glittering little dress with the tips of its claws, grumbling in an unfamiliar, strange language.

Jiang Yao cautiously tried on the puffy dress.

The evil dragon swished its tail happily and tossed her a gold coin.

Jiang Yao stared blankly at the coin, a gold disc bigger than her face.

The evil dragon tilted its head, then tossed a pearl into the cage toward the little human.

It opened its cavernous maw and pointed a claw at itself.

Did it want her to eat it...?

Jiang Yao hesitated. The evil dragon seemed to grow impatient. Its throat rumbled, and a small spray of sparks burst from its mouth.

With a cry, Jiang Yao burst into tears.

The evil dragon's smile froze. "...?"

Why was the little one it was raising crying?

The evil dragon pulled out A Handbook for Raising Rare Ancient Humans and read through it carefully. It said that ancient humans were picky eaters.

After a moment of indecision, it pulled out a shimmering scale and held it out.

A scale from the rarest evil dragon in the entire galaxy. Surely its little one would like this!

The next second, "Waaah...!"

Jiang Yao cried even louder.

The evil dragon was at its wit's end. Raising a human hatchling was way too hard!

Upcoming Story 2: Love by Force

[Collection of Short Stories]

1. A frail Omega sold at auction x a cold-blooded interstellar commander (a giant wolf)

He had always been proud of his huge, powerful body, but in front of her, for the first time, he worried about his size.

Love is something you do. (Not quite.)

2. A Central Plains woman determined to escape the southern frontier + a foreign priest

After accidentally swallowing a venomous insect, she turns into a doll. To be cured, she has no choice but to endure her embarrassment and let him do as he pleases.

The priest is aloof and saintly. "Once the poison is gone, I'll personally escort you away."

But on the night of the full moon, she sees his reflection in the lake, and it is the very serpent that fed her the venomous insect!

3. To be decided

There might also be vampires, tentacles, dragons...

All the male leads are nonhuman, with thoughts and logic unlike those of normal people. There will be forced-romance scenes and confinement in a dark room. The heroine is a gorgeous, delicate beauty, not a cool-headed, capable lead in a power fantasy. I'm a hopeless romantic, so I'll insult myself first.

Theme: Live optimistically beneath the golden sunshine!
