As a transfer student, Xu Xilou reins in his temper, hoping to get through the year without incident.

Who would have thought his desk mate would be an accomplice of the dog seller he'd run into on moving day, some bizarre little con artist from the martial world?

His desk mate, Yan Wuyan, is handsome, gets good grades, and is very popular at his new school.

Xu Xilou soon realizes his desk mate seems to have an awfully strong filter when it comes to him.

Xu Xilou glares at him, and Yan Wuyan coaxes him: "Don't be mad. Come have some snacks!"

Xu Xilou rolls up his sleeves to beat someone up, and Yan Wuyan coaxes him: "What's got you upset? I'll deal with them for you."

Xu Xilou: "Who are you trying to placate, your dad?"

Yan Wuyan keeps soothing him: "All right, all right. You're Dad. Don't cry!"

Xu Xilou: "Who the hell is crying?"

Yan Wuyan gets even more flustered: "Don't rush, take your time!"

Xu Xilou: "..."

There is definitely something wrong with this guy.
