After They Flaunted Their Wealth, I Got Rich

Popular post on a certain platform:

"Question: My coworker keeps flaunting their wealth. How should I adjust my mindset?"

As the title says, I'm a recent humanities graduate. I've been at my company for half a month. The job is great, I work nine to five, earn over 10,000 a month, have social insurance and a housing fund, and get free meals and accommodation.

My coworkers are friendly, too. They often give me expensive snacks, but sometimes they'll inexplicably flaunt their wealth without warning.

I come from an ordinary family, so there's a huge gap between me and my coworkers. I'm feeling a little crushed. How should I adjust my mindset?

How much? How much did you say you make?

Don't bother adjusting. Just quit [doge] (Before you do, please DM me HR's number. Thanks.)

Okay, now I need to adjust my mindset. I graduated three years ago and make 3,000 a month.

One week later--

Blogger, have you adjusted your mindset yet? Can you tell us how?

Original poster replies: Thanks for asking. I've bonded with the "Flaunting Wealth System," so I don't need to adjust anymore.

After bonding with the Flaunting Wealth System, Chen Wanxing was told that if she played the role of a human prop for flaunting wealth, she'd receive cash equal to the value of the item being shown off.

So--

When she ran into Coworker A, who was holding an umbrella just like hers in the rain, she hurried over and asked, "Your umbrella's so pretty. How much was it?"

Coworker A: "It didn't cost much. It came with my car. The market price is... I think 100,000 each?"

Chen Wanxing secretly played along: "That's so expensive!"

Ding!

100,000 yuan deposited into your bank account!

When she was almost late for work and ran into Coworker B, who was sauntering into the office, she hurried over to warn them: "Hurry up, or they'll dock your pay!"

Coworker B: "It's fine. I get 500,000 a month in pocket money. I can afford the fine!"

Chen Wanxing exclaimed with delighted amazement: "Wow!"

Ding!

Your 500,000 yuan allowance for this month has been deposited!

When she was talking with Coworker C about how they got to work, she deliberately led them on: "My place is close by, so I ride an electric scooter to work. It takes half an hour."

Coworker C: "Oh, my family bought me a place across the street from the office when I started working here, so I walk to work every day."

Chen Wanxing exclaimed in delighted surprise: "How wonderful!"

Ding!

5,000,000 yuan for your home purchase has been deposited!

Chen Wanxing: Bring on the wealth-flaunting even harder!

Note: A gloomy rich second-generation x a lie-flat money lover.
