A Doctor in Hong Kong in the 1970s

After transmigrating to 1970s Hong Kong, Lin Wenyu received one piece of good news and one piece of bad news.

The bad news: Her original body was a fraud who went around swindling people under the guise of being an inheritor of traditional Chinese medicine. Before she transmigrated, the original had conned a gang boss. Her treatment had failed, and the scam was about to be exposed.

The good news: During the transmigration, she became bound to the Divine Doctor System, which claimed it could diagnose any pulse and cure any illness.

However, the System specialized in traditional Chinese medicine, and its functions could only be unlocked level by level according to the Host's knowledge. Before transmigrating, she had studied Western medicine.

To avoid being thrown into the sea as fish food, Lin Wenyu gritted her teeth and decided to bluff her way through.

After binding herself to the traditional medicine System, Lin Wenyu thought her job was to treat the sick and save lives. But as she went on treating people, things started to seem a little off.

A couple whose marriage was on the rocks came to seek treatment. After taking his pulse, the System said the husband was gay and had married under false pretenses?

A wife who often felt dizzy asked her to take a look. After taking her pulse, the System said her husband had been poisoning her for a long time?

A couple argued endlessly over their son's hereditary illness. After taking the child's pulse, the System said they had taken home the wrong baby!

Lin Wenyu: Did I bind myself to a Divine Doctor System or a Gossip System?

Theme: None.
