Reborn in the Modern Day as an Actor's Bodyguard

Actor Rong Chen recently hired a new batch of bodyguards, and one of them seemed a little off.

So fair? So slender? So pretty? Can he really be a bodyguard?!

After three days on trial, Rong Chen wasn't very satisfied.

The young man was not only taciturn, but also poorly educated. He could barely even use the appliances at home.

After a month on trial, Rong Chen began to worry.

Could this wooden-headed kid really protect me? What if he uses me to block a blade?

After three months, Rong Chen was beaming.

Holy crap, look at those moves! I've struck gold!

Ling Yi was an assassin for fifteen years before he transmigrated to the modern entertainment industry and became a bodyguard.

He was well-versed in music, chess, calligraphy, and painting, but during his interview, a few simplified Chinese characters stumped him.

He spent every day at the actor's side, until the media accidentally caught his face on camera.

With his stunning looks and all-around talent, he somehow became a sensation overnight.

But the actor didn't seem to know how to behave. He kept using the employment contract as an excuse to flirt.

After pretending to be clueless and well-behaved for half a year, Ling Yi finally lost patience and cornered him against the wall.

“You want me, don't you? Come and get me.”

“Uh... buddy, put the knife down first.”
