Getting Face-Slapped by the Coroner Every Day [Crime Solving]

The follow-up BL story, "Don't Fight and Kill [From Ancient Times to the Modern Day]," is open for advance readers. Feel free to visit the author's page.

The original title of this story was "I Fell in Love with a Coroner."

After graduating, An Jin unexpectedly transmigrated into the body of a lowly county magistrate in Ping'an City.

He'd planned to hide away in this remote backwater and coast through life. Unfortunately, despite the city's reputation for simple, honest folk, someone was being murdered every few days.

Worse still, a mere coroner kept saying astonishing things and stealing the applause that should have gone to him.

An Jin's career as a county magistrate began with getting face-slapped by the coroner every day. Smack, smack, sharp and clear.

A comeback! This lord is going to make a comeback!

The wish was beautiful, reality was brutal, and the coroner was unfathomable...

An Jin's road to a comeback was full of bumps, but he did eventually succeed...

But the result was... How could it turn out like this?

Guide:

1. One-on-one, happy ending, with a prince showing up unexpectedly.

2. The focus is solving cases, and all the logic is devoted to solving them.

3. A timid, gullible, dead-serious detective-story fan shou VS a skilled farmer gong with obsessive-compulsive tendencies and a cleanliness obsession.

4. The county magistrate is extremely goofy at first. Extremely! Just stick with it, trust me!

5. This is the author's second story, and the characterization has plenty of shortcomings! Thank you for understanding!
