A Guide to Courting NPCs in Horror Games

Wu Zhouzhou was a transmigrator exiled to a horror-game world after wrecking the worlds of her quick transmigration missions.

Having had enough of life and ready to let everything fall apart, she fell in love at first sight with the NPC priest in the first horror game, set in a desolate village.

Wu Zhouzhou was the sort who acted on her impulses. That night, while all the other players huddled together, trembling and praying to make it through safely, she used searching for clues as an excuse to sneak into the NPC priest's room in the dead of night...

Early the next morning.

The players asked, "Zhouzhou, did you find anything when you went to see the high priest last night?"

Wu Zhouzhou narrowed her eyes and savored the memory. "It was huge, tsk, tsk..."

The NPC's confession

Every day, I repeat the same things. I don't know what it means to have a heartbeat or to be alive.

I don't know why the people around me keep changing, or why the river where I go to catch fish is always stained red with blood.

Then one day, someone blocked my path. Beneath the red-gold sunset, a girl with blood on both hands smiled and held out a beating heart to me.

She said to me, "Your chest is really big. You can use this. Can I touch it?"
