From elementary school through high school, Chang Linlin was practically the model child everyone else's parents wished they had: top of her class, a responsible class officer in her teachers' eyes, an outstanding student in her parents' eyes, meticulous about studying, and always keeping up with games and anime.
She should have continued along the path laid out for her. But one day, some guy claiming to be a god supposedly saw her potential, took her to an unfamiliar place, and dumped a pile of inexplicable titles and top-level permissions on her, all in the name of helping find missing problem kids.
Chang Linlin, who was also still a minor: ...What is your problem?
After finally accepting the so-called premise, she took a look at the basic information on the people she was supposed to look after.
Problem Kid No. 1: A wildly over-the-top, violent wrecking machine
Problem Kid No. 2: A delusional patient whose goal is to become a yan-ke star
Problem Kid No. 3: A future big shot in the shinobi world, apparently suffering from a severe case of chuunibyou
Problem Kid No. 4: A white-haired guy who likes to call himself a big bad villain
...And so on.
Oh, and that didn't even include the oddball adults who suddenly showed up along the way, like a naturally curly-haired guy obsessed with sweets, or some Dragon-Ball-esque, unhinged teacher.
Chang Linlin: ...Goodbye. I can't help. Sorry to bother you. I'm leaving.
System: Really? Then you'll never be able to go home~
Chang Linlin: ...Damn it.
With no other choice, she silently turned to look at the assistant director the System had randomly assigned to her.
Problem Kid No. ???: A bandage-wasting contraption with a core made of black sludge
Chang Linlin: ...Just so we're clear, don't mess with me.
And so, Chang Linlin, the unwilling director-to-be, began her long and miserable wandering journey to find all the missing minors...
P.S. The problem kids/young adults won't appear in any fixed order. Their appearances are random.
The CP is undecided, so take your pick.
The protagonist has a growing golden finger and is bound to an FFXIV System. If that's a dealbreaker, feel free to click the little red X in the upper-right corner.
