In the Lands Between, where the gods of the beginning are everywhere, Malenia, the Valkyrie known as the [Scarlet Rot], is invaded by an alien consciousness as the stars descend upon the earth. After the System invades and Malenia realizes that she's a game boss (a clown) with a brainless brother-complex plotline, she says: "...?" Damn it. From now on, she's maxing out her intelligence. Then, when she plants the Haligtree on the first planet she lands on, she gains a special "follower." The silver-haired boy, clad in full armor, lifts his face. His pale green catlike eyes look pure and bright in the sunlight. "Teacher. Where are we going?" ...The training System includes this kind of training, too? The goddess crosses the sea from the West and plants the Haligtree. She builds a new nation amid chaos, slays demons, recruits heroes, and makes her name known far and wide. Both Ryomen Sukuna and Naraku of the Spider fall to her. When all is done, the goddess closes her eyes for a brief rest beneath the Haligtree. "Rot may bring calamity, but it also brings new life." Volume Four: [The Land Where Stars Shine] (Part Two) A thousand years later, turmoil surges beneath the facade of peace. The savior from Chaldea cannot reach this place. Fourteen-year-old Geto Suguru accidentally summons a god. She stays by his side as he grows up and helps him take part in the [Holy Grail War]. She drives off the extraterrestrial enemy, makes the Singularity disappear, and saves the planet from disaster. "The rest of the road is for humanity to walk on its own." She took the planet's enemy away. "Why did you do that?" "I only wanted to wake you. If you sleep too long, the [Scarlet] will worsen your condition." From the day she said they were alike, the seed of desire sprouted in a dark corner, until he stopped hiding it. The man reaches out to put her prosthetic limbs on for her, then wipes the blood left on her cheek from the battle. His narrow, elongated pupils draw tight as he looks at her, his gaze that of a large, predatory beast. Yet both his actions and his tone seem entirely submissive to her. "Humans will betray you. She has a natural, disaster-level curse, powerful magic, and a wide variety of skills that she'll use in creative ways later on. The Elden Ring section only appears in the prologue to introduce the background. For the full reading experience, I don't recommend skipping it. The first and second volumes are short.
