A Qing Dynasty Transmigration Among Blossoms

Blurb: (Harem intrigue series) I'm terrible at writing blurbs, but the story itself is great!

After transmigrating into the Qing dynasty as one of Emperor Qianlong's concubines, Ying'er initially thought her low status meant she had no future. She never expected to be the historical Consort Ying, who had neither sons nor daughters but lived to the age of seventy.

So long as she didn't cause trouble, and wasn't in the wrong when the concubines of the various palaces picked fights out of jealousy, Ying'er would never let herself be taken advantage of!

Warning: Partly fictionalized Qing dynasty setting. Don't compare it to history. Readers who care about historical accuracy, proceed with caution.

Blurb: (Not yet available, please follow the novel)

From the moment Yuewei entered the palace, she knew she might be Ding Fei, the longest-lived Qing dynasty consort in history, of the Wanliuha clan.

At the time, she wanted nothing but freedom. She had worked diligently in the palace for nearly ten years, and was on the verge of being allowed to leave, ready to find a wide-open world beyond its walls.

But just as freedom was within reach, something went wrong, and a palace maid became a consort.

With freedom on one side and the temptation of power and status on the other, what will she choose?

Yuewei: I only wanted to be free, but since things have turned out this way, I'll take both the fish and the bear's paw!

Later, Kangxi watched helplessly as the gentle and kind, tender and affectionate, lively and adorable, bright and dazzling women in his harem all became utterly loathsome.

He watched as his filial, sensible, gifted, virtuous, and upstanding sons fought tooth and nail for the position of heir, turning against their brothers and growing to hate their father.

And his least-favored son, Yintang, and his most low-key woman became the ultimate winners in both the harem and the imperial court while he was suffering a stroke.

Warning: Set during the Kangxi era of the Qing dynasty (partly fictionalized, don't nitpick the history). The heroine is quiet and low-key in public, but beautiful and ruthless underneath. She never falls in love. Enter at your own risk.

Theme: Keep a positive spirit. Even the scheming harem can be a place to live freely.
